Saleh on Kinlaw

Recommended Posts

I get that coaches like to hype up their own guys and I understand Kinlaw is a former first round pick with plenty of natural talent, but...

I just heard Saleh say teams will eventually figure out that they can't block Kinlaw one on one and that'll free up Quinnen on the other side.

Even for a coach who loves to praise his own guys, this feels early for such over the top high praise for a guy with five sacks over four seasons, no?

Well he could've played the ones a little over the past 2 games and people could have seen for themselves. But I will just keep taking his word for it 🙄

What does he gain as a coach playing his starters and showing what they can do?

To appease you the fan? You think he cares about that?

No he cares about having his players healthy and ready to go. As well as keeping as much of the playbook hidden.

It does seem early, but then go see his comments on Wilson, Zach…..

Personally I’m waiting for the first win to high five everyone but I do try to not be miserable in every thread with every post. 60-40 split be nice.

I will balance my nervous system in 3,2,1....PVO baby, PVO!  This is all trash talk and entertainment. Nobody should feel personally offended due to our differences in opinions. I actually believe that is best for us not to be overhyped about the offseason and roster, because it has not proven anything in the last decade and a half.

Do I want the Jets to win? Of course! Do I believe they will be super bowl champs under this regime? Nope.  Can it happen? Maybe.

I just have one suggestion, let's not override the dopamine rollercoaster.

So you are coaching members how to temper their misery? LMAO

Saleh talks up everybody 24/7, but I do generally trust him when he talks up his DL. He gets those guys to play well and Kinlaw has talent.

I think he’s exaggerating, but I also think Kinlaw will play well this year

Misery? Join a self help group, this group is a football message board. I see no point in bashing  the team in every single post no matter what. Some people actually come here to talk about their favorite team. Every post doesn’t have to be blissfully blowing dandelions up your ass or miserably taking a massive crap in every thread. By the way? Season hasn’t even started yet, why not wait and see first.

ok - how about an actual response to the post? kinlaw has talent - maybe a lot of it - but has always been injured - as parcels said “ a players best attribute is his availability” if he stays healthy he can contribute- how much remains to he see- but if healthy he may flourish in this defense - time will tell - and soon

It’s just saleh being saleh.  As long as they play with violence.

Or he could try and keep his player healthy and discuss at a presser for fans to digest.

His job isn’t to give players xtra preaseason work for some who can wait until the regular season.

It's par for the course for Saleh, talking about every guy on his roster as if they're the greatest thing since sliced bread, whether they've actually accomplished anything in the league or not.

Kinlaw's been a medical bust most of his career.

In his spare time in SF, he enjoyed beefing with beat reporters and threatening to strangle them.

I didn't understand this move, but he's one of "Saleh's guys", so I guess it's as simple as that.
