Dolphins oline looks like a complete joke 🤣

Recommended Posts

The Dolphins have a very good defense with an elite pass rusher and shut down CB. They have an explosive offense with an elite WR duo, explosive RBs, a talented pass catching TE, and a dynamic QB with a cannon for an arm. Most importantly, they have a great coaching staff.

Their o-line may have some holes because they lost players to injury but they still have talent-  Armstead, Paul, Jackson, Eichenberg.

The Fish are nothing to sneeze at. I think the Jets have an edge against them just because of how loaded our D is and now we have a steady run game and vet QB to keep their offense at bay. But otherwise, I would be very concerned about facing them. I still think at best we will split the season games against them, assuming we stay healthy.

My guess would be they haven't played a game yet and the starters haven't played much together in the pre-season games.  We will be going to West coast to find a team that has played together for awhile and been perennial post season contenders. Until we see this team at full speed in an actual game we really don't know, we can only guess.

Got it and the playing together aspect is fair in my opinion. To me, I think they are fairly rated but we'll see.

How in your mind are the Jets overrated?

It's interesting because you think to yourself, well, the Jets won 7 games last year, they colossally underperformed, missing the playoffs, looking quite frankly, terrible. How could they possibly be overrated this year?

Then you think about the FA moves (additions/retaining players), the draft picks, and all the injuries/players coming back healthy (Rodgers). Immediately this is a very, very good team on paper. So pundits will look at the construction of this roster and have no qualms to predict AFCCG or SB contention.

But we really have nothing to base this on other than a paper roster. Potential. Assumption and hope that the team will stay healthy and perform as intended. It's a mystery. We will just need to see. So in that sense, they could very well be overrated. Even without major injuries, this season can go sideways.

I hate to say it but typically you get a little bit from column A and a little bit from column B. This might be a season where injuries happen but not a ton of major injuries. This may be a season where we win games but don't look dominant. Get into the playoffs but get knocked out after winning only one game.

Getting to the AFCCG or SB will be a magical run. Missing the playoffs will be a miserable SOJ scenario. Odds are we land somewhere in the middle.

Fair. he's not know for a 'cannon arm'. But he has good enough arm strength to throw anywhere on the field including deep with accuracy. That has never been an issue for him. It has been decision making. But if you disagree and you think the Fish are a joke and their QB sucks...

the dude your opinion GIF

Listen, ok, fine, he has a noodle arm. Great. You feel better about yourself?

Tua was the NFL passing yard leader and a Pro Bowler last year. He threw for 29TDs with a 69% compl pct. leading the second highest scoring offense in the NFL. I'm glad you can so easily quip about his 'noodle arm' because he has been embarrassing teams with it.

I'm not a fan of the fish. But I'm also not a sad deluded Jet fan who acts like other teams or players are terrible (rivals or not) despite clear statistics staring them right in the face.

@FTL Jet Fan cool. Is that all you have to say?

@Testaverde9819 Prove he sucks. Back it up or stop running your mouth. Bro.

Yeah, just pencil n the wind.  It’s still just preseason and they have two weeks to figure things out.  Plus with tyreek and waddle catching short throws tua doesn’t need much time.  I think the jets will have the upper hand but they still need to play the game.

Yeah when you have a generational WR on one end and your #2 can be a #1 in most places, with a good offense coach, I mean it makes sense

The talent around Tua covers up his physical limitations

And please stop listening to these idiot talking heads, you sound like a ESPN reporter regurgitating stats without adding the full context

Fish lost half their defensive backs, no pass rusher and didn't improve at all on defense yet somehow it's better then we think...

You think jets fans are delusional... I have no idea what you are smoking and saying Tua has a cannon arm????...

Come on dude... Miami has no OL and a QB that is one concussion away from ending his career... Jets are no where as fragile as Miami

Ya pretty much. Just jokes, you are sticking up for our division rival though. Fine, TUA is a decent QB, that better?
