bla bla bla
Pretty sure Allen and Herbert were pretty high up on the NFL Top 100, which I thought was player ranked. These 103 players must be practice squad guys lol

Mr. Rogers
I do think Allen and Hurts get a lot of hype out of their fantasy football production that doesn't actually match their play on the field sometimes. That being said, agreed, kinda a dumb list. All of these guys, except arguably Deshaun (the post allegations version) are great QBs. And it's hard to call Tua overrated when he is so widely criticized. I think Jordan Love deserves a spot on this list if it's real. We've seen about half a season and 1 great playoff game (against a very overrated cowboys team) out of him yet he's being treated and paid like a future hall of famer by some already. Gotta see more from him, personally.

I can see arguments for all of them tbh. Allen is basically modern Favre. Tua has had a ton of help, Lawrence has been hit and miss, Herbert seems to wilt in big moments etc.
Mr. Rogers
7 minutes ago, Irish Jet said: Herbert seems to wilt in big moments etc. This is a perfectly valid criticism, but it's hard for me to separate this from the horrific coaching the Chargers have had over his tenure. Even when Herbert plays well then defense ALWAYS seems to blow it, his offense commits penalties, players don't execute right, etc. Perhaps having to carry that team just weighs on him. Staley was horrific at game management and ran a terrible, undisciplined defense for a supposedly defensive minded coach. That Jaguars playoff game, in particular, springs to mind. As my chargers fan friend says, it's in the chokin chargers DNA
Warfish
Tua puts up league-leading passing production numbers and helps win plenty more than he loses when he plays, and gets what seems to be literally no respect at all from anyone, including his own fanbase. Biggest issues are his health (the big one), his INT's, and his rising up to big games. Hard to see that being the 3rd most over-rated in today's NFL, but ok.

slimjasi
Josh Allen is, at worst, QB3 (and probably QB2) in the entire league. Also, for all the sh*t Tua gets, if anything, he is underrated, not overrated.

Possibly one of most underrated players in the entire league. He's always produced but gets talked about like he's a bum.
Popular Post slats
I think the two most overrated QBs in the league are Cousins and Carr. They’re certainly the most overpaid.

And I agree that in a better situation he could have been right in the mix with Mahomes, Burrow, and Allen. But now, with his two best WRs gone as well as Ekeler, he's probably going to regress a lot. I certainly wouldn't touch him as my QB1 in fantasy this year. I would hate if he was on my team with that contract. I can't see him ever being successful in big moment.

Even when he wasn't playing as well last year I saw a lot of things that impressed me. I just think the expectations, salary and media hype have already gone well beyond what I've actually seen on the field. I'll glad give him his flowers if he does start winning trophies

Agreed that I'm not touching him in fantasy, but I still expect his real life performances to be solid. Maybe even better than ever, in the sense of coordinating winning efforts for his team. The stats might not be superstar level but I am rooting for him to succeed on the whole. I'm also curious to see how a Greg Roman offense will look with a QB who isn't as talented at running, but is arguably a better pure QB. Lamar's field vision and throwing have disappointed at times, although to be fair to him he's had some of the NFLs worst receiving groups... rangerous
Not so sure about Allen even being on this list. The bills don’t win without him. I doubt if many other QBs could replace Allen and they would have the same success. And I think this even though Allen has nearly snatched defeat out of the jaws of victory in quite a few games.

I forget what talking head went on a tangent after Cee Dee Lamb got his payday. Herbert or even Allen this year will show if they are elite. Patrick has been fine without Tyreek. Granted, he still has a HofF TE, but the point is he is fine with 2nd tier (or worse) receivers.
