rangerous
So the talk about using Charles was just talk once they picked up bates. Brownlee has had two chances to shine and he just didn’t.
Sarge4Tide
If he goes to the PS, it will be interesting to see if he replaces McCutheon or Smith.
JKlecko
I think they'll probably sign him to the PS unless someone offers him more

Joe W. Namath
Not surprising. Crazy that people thought a starter like michael clemons or a stud like izzy would get cut. Not a chance. Brownlee was easily expendable.

hmhertz
Good, In a video I posted Charlie was making good progress as a receiver. Much more physical, bigger frame. James Franklin called Sir Charles the finest receiver he ever coached. I wish Corley would stop trying to run over defenders and used his blockers instead. Quickness and route running more important for a receiver. Players insisting on running over defenders as their go to move wind up on the injured reserve
jamesr
Shouldn't this thread title be "JASON BROWNLEE isn't on the Jets any more discussion" ???

Our WR room is GW, an oft-injured Mike Williams, and a bunch of average at best NFL receivers. If you can't stick here, you're not sticking many other places. 2
jetstream23
A guy like Brownlee would have been WR4 on this team just a few years ago. He's a good developmental player, but it's honestly a good thing when the Jets are able to let a player like him go because they have better guys than him. 4
hmhertz
Jets fans were screaming about getting this nothing on the field last year. This yewr some of us were salivating about convincing Corey Davis to don a green jersey again. What about giving Allen Robinson 31 years old, 562 career rec a chance to compete with Alan Lazard
