Larz
Yes. The data comes from PFF. Yes if everyone stays healthy, I get it. Yes it’s a projection not a guarantee. Ok now we got that out of the way the Jets have an outstanding line. Pass blocking 10th and run blocking 4th.

Warfish
How accurate were PFF's Projections last year at this time vs. end of Season?

JKlecko
I wish that the percentages were reversed for the Jets for pass blocking and run blocking, but I'll take it. Smith should be one of the top 2-3 LTs again this year. Tippman should take a step up, maybe two. Hopefully, AVT stays healthy, otherwise he will be solid at a minimum. He could wind up being selected as a Pro Bowl, if not All Pro RG. Moses should be solid. Simpson is the question mark, but has looked solid so far. This definitely will be the best (at least on paper) OL the Jets have had since 2009 (the days of Woody, Brick, Mangold, Moore and Faneca). I do have the sense we won't have a full picture of how the OL run blocks until they have been together a few weeks. I have a general sense that run blocking requires more coordination than pass blocking and so the gel process takes longer. Very optimistic about the OL. 32EBoozer
Breece, Allen ALL-DAY! I can see us ranking top 4 in rushing yards per game. Rodgers Play action will be lethal! I can easily see 35 TDs as the low bar for him.
hmhertz
I erased my college football All Star games, which I watch every night in the off season, while listening to football pods. The only game that I recorded left was the finale against Buffalo. As the stats showed our line played extremely well with one exception. Newman's play was far superior to Tippmann. Our #2 pick looked , slow, clumsy and couldn't sustain, the opposite of XN who excelled in every area

Waka Flocka Flacco
Simpson sucks, Tippman sucks and can't snap the ball, and they've never played together. Smith and Moses are great but dudes you never heard of are gonna look like Warren Sapp against this interior.

FidelioJet
Healthy this is a very good OL.....But there's a ton of risk there. It's also why I'm confident we win next Monday night.

Larz
5. NEW YORK JETS After performing as one of the worst units of the 2023 season, the Jets' offensive line mightily improved this offseason. Veteran tackles Tyron Smith and Morgan Moses both finished among the 10 highest-graded offensive tackles in 2023 and could form one of the best duos in the league in 2024. The Jets also get back one of the best young guards in the league, Alijah Vera-Tucker, who missed most of the 2023 season due to an injury. PFF has the Jets line ranked at 5 can’t wait to see Smith bury Floyd into the dirt lol.
