Aiyuk signs 4 year deal

Recommended Posts

Expected Aiyuk to come to terms. Quite frankly I don’t think he’s worth that. But whatever.

He has a tough matchup for him week 1 against us. Them not having Williams is what can be a game changer. The rest of that OL isn’t anything to talk about.

This deal getting done for the exact contract the 49ers have wanted to give him, might let them get Trent Williams done very quickly. I think the 49ers were dug in on price and waiting for this to get inked so that they could turn attention to Williams. We’ll see.

The game of chicken is coming to a head. Anyone that wants to play week 1 needs to be signed and at the facility by Monday.

If Williams signs between now and Sunday pressure on JD builds.

JJ & Q will feast!! Kinlaw will be extremely motivated.

4 keys to defensive success:

#1 STOP McCaffrey at all costs

#2 Pressure required rushing 4

# 3 Quincy or Sherwood spy CM @Sperm Edwards No CJ!

#4 Quincy or Sherwood on Kittle @Sperm Edwards

No CJ!

LOL

After all that, they freaking caved.

Sets a precedent for the next good 9ers player that wants more money.

Imagine how relevant this post would be if the 9’rs actually caved?

Interesting

That's what Garrett Wilson is saying. In his Rookie Year Aiyuk had 880 Yards receiving. In his rookie year Garrett Wilson had 1100 yards receiving. If Wilson has another big year this year to go along the 2 1000 yard receiving seasons he has already racked up he will be in line for an Early Block Buster Contract.

And honestly, he will deserve it.  Whatever we, as fans, may think or it, top WRs are getting $30M+/year.  Garrett Wilson is a top WR.  If he does it again this season (please!) then he should be in line to be paid in the top-5, or possibly by then even top 1 since it's a year later and he's the best  WR in his draft class by far who will be eligible for extensions for the first time.  Chase still has to sign his extension which is going to be another good comp along with Jefferson, Lamb, and St. Brown.  $35M/year seems likely.  Good for him.  Bad for our cap.
