Thought the offense looked good with Hall and Allen together in the backfield . Thoughts ?

I can't believe it took 5 or 6 quarters to even see it.  Many thought it may be part of our offensive identity, with splitting one or both out.

They did some good things with it. Both guys are a threat. Excited to see how it evolves.

In general, the 11th man on the field is a choice between an extra WR, TE, or RB. Can’t tell me that Allen is any less of an offensive option than Conklin, Gipson, or Lazard. I want to see a lot more of it, especially seeing the sort of success you can have lining up Breece as a WR.

Breece and Braelon in the same backfield is a big problem for opposing defenses. I look forward to see how these 2 are deployed more going forward!

We really also have to get Corley involved since even with the 2 RBs, we have only been using WRs Wilson, Lizard, and just starting to use Williams as well as Conklin a little. That is only 6 targets since Ruckert is having trouble making catches at this point.

I was really impressed with BA.  Going into the season I wasn't sure about his "game speed" but he looked pretty quick on that TD run.

“On Thursday, Rodgers broached the idea to offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett about using a personnel group that featured two running backs on the field at the same time: Hall and Allen. Hackett said he didn’t like it for this week. Rodgers gave him an idea for a play involving a bubble screen. Hackett relented.

In the second quarter, the Jets called a timeout right before the two minute warning. They were deciding between two plays — Rodgers suggested one with Hall and Allen on the field. It included a fake screen to a moving Hall on the right side, leaving Allen open for a short screen just in front of him. Allen — helped by some downfield blocking from Joe Tippmannand Alijah Vera-Tucker — took it to the house for a 12-yard touchdown, the first of the fourth-round rookie’s career. 
 

Rodgers pointed to Hackett on the sideline, as if to say: I told you so.”
