124
How would you all like this trade: San Fran trades the #6 & #22 to the Jets for #4 so they can select either LB A.J. Hawk or DE Mario Williams (if either is still on the board). Then you go with: #6 - Cutler #22 - McNeil #29 - BPA #35 - BPA
Kup DeVilles
Sign me up.. that is the kind of trade our new guys will be looking for. that's even better than the Detroit trading 9 + 2nd rounder for 4. I know I have been singing this tune for a while, but no was do the Green & White Trade up for ML or Bush. I can see circumstance can drop bush in our laps, but know way do we trade up.. We want to stock pile enough picks to fill a bunch of holes. what ever trade goes down and there will be one, we will have a top 10 pick and another 1st rounder. I can see our guys winding up with 4 picks in the to 40-45.. I DO LIKE YOUR TRADE!

Either way, that deal would still be pretty good for us, not sure we'd take cutler @ #6 though...maybe ngata? i'd love to get a big DT and high quality OT. RSJ
According to the draft value chart we would need to give SF our #29 or #35 to make that work and even that falls a little short in terms of value.

F the value chart. It's actually been discussed in article that I read over at TGG with either SF trading up with us or New Orleans, depending. No team in their right mind would trade the #22 pick in the first round to move from 6 to 4.

Besides, they're rumored to be salivating over Vernon Davis. I would do that trade in a heartbeat but not even the Niners are stupid enough to make such a one-sided deal. ThunderbirdJet
Sign me up for that in a heartbeat. If SF REALLY wants Hawk or M Williams, they might have to trade up with us. If they are happy with V Davis at 6, no deal. We could throw em a bone with a third rounder, but they will have to really want Hawk or Williams. I'm not sure I buy into the SF - V davis love fest.... just like I don't believe the rumors the Jets could go for Davis at 4.
