Playing two consecutive short weeks seems like bad scheduling on the NFL's part.  It shouldn't happen.  If this was 5 years ago, and the Pats were benefitting from this, I would be even less surprised.  I actually thing playing two road games less than 7 days apart like we just did is also something that probably should not happen.  I mean, it's not that hard to avoid those situations if they cared.

On the other hand, we actually get an extra day after the London game (MNF the next week) so that one worked out better.

I never understand the whole "3 games in 11 days" argument.  the Pats are about to have their 3rd game in 12 days!  does that ONE day make such a difference?  Everyone who has a Thursday night game, has 3 games in 12 days.....

What was my take Mr hall monitor? I found it odd a coach in week 3 would say he was personally exhausted before the game. Seems like a preemptive excuse. We all have to travel for work sometimes and answer the bell. Saleh gets a lot of time during the offseason to rest.

It's pronounced SEALs and what Saleh was saying is it doesn't matter what is thrown their way they can be hurt, tired, and miserable the mission is at hand, and they have to embrace the suck and nobody will feel sorry for them.

I think one day makes enough of a difference that playing on a short week is always considered a disadvantage. Obviously there's only a one game difference for the Pats (which really just speaks to Thursday games being pretty sh*tty for players) but you'd think the league would try to avoid a Thursday game the two weeks after a MNF game. Just seems like common sense for a league that is constantly pretending they care about player safety.
