Aaron Rodgers Every Throw vs Patriots

Best part of tonight's game IMO was how well Rodgers was moving around.

I wasn't exactly throwing the season out the window, but I was somewhat concerned with how much AR seemed to be hobbling around vs SF.

I'd said at the time that the rust may come off and he may be fine in time, but didn't know if it would be 2 weeks, 5 weeks, 11 weeks, etc..

Well, tonight he was light years better than he was just 12 days ago.

Great sign.

I think a bit of hesitancy in the early weeks was inevitable. Especially on what’s still essentially a new offence, personnel wise anyway.

He’s eased into things far quicker that expected. Just amazing command of the game yesterday from start to finish. Awesome to watch.

And it was against a very good Pats D. The Pats O is garbage, but their D is quality and Rodgers and the Jets dominated them.

He still has not fully shaken off the rust, missing a few passes he usually hits. But wow, the difference in how he worked in the pocket from w1 -> 3 is large. He didn't look like he was panicking or moving too quickly last night like he was the previous two weeks. Calm, precise decision making all night. Playing at home probably helped, but he's definitely settling in and looking like a top NFL QB.

We have a real NFL offense fellas. That Pats D isn't bad either.

This is all true, but it won’t mean so much if we don’t get a Pepsi Zero Sugar Rookie of the Week nomination out of it.
