Timeouts and GW's route running

When was the last time you saw a Jets team curb stomp a team... Give it a rest.

Bill Parcells/Rex Ryan coaching years.

We are driven by short-term pleasures that become habitual.  Just like any drug, or mind-altering substance, dopamine enhanced brains can be detrimental to the health.

I will enjoy a long run in the playoffs, not the smear of leftovers.

Bill Parcells made the playoffs once with the Jets, lol. Long term success 😅

So 14 years ago.  Exactly the point.  14 years ago I was single and 24.  I'm now 38 and have been married for 5 years.  We were all different people 14 years ago.

And you wonder why you're getting flamed with this thread?

As in "I am dead serious", with all my statements.  LOL, I love how twisted we get with a rebel, it is comical.

What occurred in the 3rd quarter with consecutive timeouts?

This being our third game, some growing pains are expected, yet the mismanagement of time and player rotation is unacceptable.

Additionally, is GW struggling with route running? The hierarchy may shift if AR and GW don't fully synchronize. Mike Williams, with his precise and sharp receiving skills, might see an increase in targeted passes.

The burning timeouts to avoid delay of game penalties, has become a theme the last 2 games and for me, it's pretty frustrating.

3 last week and 3 against last night.

Last week I hoped it was just due to being on the road, in a hostile environment.

But to have it happen again last night, at MetLife Stadium - this something that has to be corrected.

The offense really needs to start focusing on getting in & out of the huddle quicker.

No doubt there are some growing pains getting used to how Rodgers runs the offense and his level of accountability, after suffering through a year of the Zach Wilson lead offense last season.

I suspect as the season goes on and the rest of the offensive players get more comfortable with how Rodgers runs this offense, they will get in and out of the huddle quicker and Rodgers won't have to keep telling guys where they should be lining up - which I've observed on several occasions.

That said, Rodgers simply can't keep losing track of the game clock.

I know he has a lot on his plate running the offense, but being aware of the play clock, is something that Rodgers definitely needs to improve on, moving forward.

It’s true that GW needs to work on his sideline awareness. I believe he had an issue with this at least once, maybe a couple of times, during the preseason scrimmages as well. And it’s true he and AR have missed on a few plays due to being on different pages regarding where he would be. AR also missed him on a go Thursday (bad throw, not GW’s fault on that one — there was an illegal motion flag on that one so it would have been called back anyway, but AR overthrew him) … and wanted to go deep to him another time when he was open but choose to throw short because the pocket collapsed. Overall, I agree with those who are saying these are relatively small issues and that are likely to get fixed soon. When they do i think this could be the best Jets QB - receiver connection we’ve ever seen (or at least during the 50 years I’ve watched this team).
