Narcissists and back stabbers like Rodgers will all say the same thing:

I had no clue this was going to happen.  I love Robert Saleh.  I wish him the best.  Now we need to really buckle down and get to work.

Right out of the ego maniac playbook.

Please leave.

Please.

Your toxic stupidity is a massive detriment to this board. Don't bother responding. I took this post off of ignore just to implore you to leave the board and seek professional help.

We weeping for the poor multi-millionaires private-school kids now?

If the worst Adam faces in life is a few "your dad was a bad Jets coach" jokes, then they have one hell of a good life.

Sorry, but Rodger's "won't anyone think of the children" is just typical Rodgers PR deflection stuff, made to pull your heartstrings while avoiding hard questions with hard answers.

PS he IS a narcissist, it's not an "us idiots thinking it" problem.  And with this PR "who, me?" spin he's doing, we know he's a bald-faced liar too.

Eat the rich...kids?

Whatever.

What a trash take, bro.

You are truly an insufferable person. I'm sure some of you guys have met this guy in person. Is he really the way he portrays himself here or is this his way of getting attention, or both?

Oh make no mistake, there are many children I do have plenty of empathy for the suffering they're going through:

The poor and hungry kids.

Kids in Ukraine.

Kids in Gaza, Lebanon and Israel.

Kids in NC whose towns and families were swept away.

Adam Saleh having to hypothetically "hear" what's said about his dad being a bad coach on sports-talk radio by Aaron Rodgers? Not real high on my list.  Your priorities are all sorts of in the wrong place if that is where you think empathy for children belongs in this day and age.

This entire post is deranged. I guess I shouldn't give a few bucks to the homeless dude at the intersection because "UKRAINE!!". JFC. Someone must have ****ed your brain up pretty bad at some point in the past to say some of the sh*t you do.

Give me a break.

It's hardly "psychopathic" to express empathy for the thousands of kids suffering real, actual violence, pain and suffering, of war, weather and starvation vs. some hypothetical 'suffering' of a multi-millionaire's kid because he might hear on a sports-talk show that his dad was a sh*tty NFL football coach.

I'm willing to bet you've never once personally given a single sh*t about the idea that some coach or players kid might hypothetically read something you wrote critical of their father here on JN, so spare me the added laughable holier-than-thou hypocrisy here while you're at it.

Ummm … I wasn’t calling you “psychopathic.” The comment about being an expert in psychopathology was in reference to you labeling Rodgers a narcissist (a diagnosable mental health disorder, as I’m sure you know) .

In your defense, you’re certainly not the only one calling him a narcissist — you’re just the only one doing it in the same breath that you defend the hypothetical bullying of Saleh’s kids because of their privilege — as if that makes them immune to the impact. The seeming incongruity and lack of awareness is, as i said, is impressive (not in a good way). I do admire your concern for kids in truly horrific circumstances, though.

As for your last sentence, I don’t think you’ll find any posts from me personally insulting Jets players or coaches (though I will admit to getting a little snarky with some of the posters on this board at times, although I try not to for the very same reasons I think it’s perfectly reasonable to hope that Robert Saleh’s kids don’t get bullied — i.e. there’s nothing wrong with having opinions and being civil).

Dear lord, no one here calling him a narcissist is trying to formally diagnose him with narcissistic personality disorder or any other mental health condition ffs.  I mean come on.    This gets more ridiculous by the post.

Not defending any (completely and purely hypothetical) bullying.

I'm laughing at the idea that Aaron Rodgers shouldn't be honest about or critical of Saleh because his son might hear it on the radio.  It's a dodge, nothing more.

Again, no one is seeking to have Rodgers "insult" Saleh.  Most of us who are critical or distrustful of Rodgers would like to see him be honest about Saleh's failings as an NFL Head Coach (of which there are many), and/or honest about his own role in Saleh's firing.  I don't think he's been either, no matter how many canned PR answer's and "think of the children" defenses he's provided.

Hey @Gaffneycatch81, is Jet Engine trying to diagnose my mental illness here, maybe you should provide some insight into that.

No Engine, sorry to disappoint, there is nothing wrong with me.  I'm just not a Rodgers simp fangirl who eats up whatever obvious bullsh*t he spoons to people, like many folks here are.  I am not awed by him, I don't owe him my unquestioning worship, as so many here seem to act.

As for the homeless guy, pretty sure he'd fit squarely into my "poor and hungry" section in the very same post you quoted, so you didn't even read it if you think I'd be critical of you for giving to him, lol.

I'd also not equate "being homeless" with "might hear someone say something critical of his dad's job as NYJ Coach on the radio" as being particularly equivalent, personally.  But you do you.

I don’t know what bee got in your bonnet, Warfish. I simply think people are throwing around the term “narcissist” way too much when it comes to Rodgers, and often they don’t know what that even means.

Rodgers wasn’t using the excuse of not hurting Salah’s kid’s feelings to avoid being critical of him — he was responding to question of how he felt when he heard the news, and he said he thought of his family. If you don’t watch the sh*t you comment on (and you have said yourself you didn’t watch this), you might want to be a bit less adamant about your views.

And on your last point, my post was referring to you saying I insult the Jets coaches and players without regard to how that could impact their families — it wasn’t about Rodgers and whether or not people want HIM to insult Salah. You’re really not even making much sense or tracking with your own posts and responses.

I’m going to leave it at that because, while I often disagree with you, I don’t often see you using the type of nasty, sarcastic rhetoric you’ve employed in your last few posts in this exchange — so I’m just going to assume you’re having a bad day. See ya next time.

Trying carefully to avoid crossing any lines, I just would like to point out it's amusing to see Rodgers get indignant about others believing a conspiracy theory (in this case, that he got Saleh fired).

At least you admit it’s a conspiracy theory

This is a Jets message board, no need for you to be the moral compass for anyone else by deciding what their priorities should be.  By your thinking, we can minimize anything that may happen to someone by comparing and contrasting to a tragic situation somewhere in the world.  You are not allowed to feel bad for someone because someone else has it much worse!   Oh, a player broke their leg?  Who cares when people are having their legs blown off elsewhere in the world.  Not every comment, feeling or incident needs to be made on a relativity scale to a tragedy somewhere in the world.
