Do you care if Rodgers is a narcissist? Do you believe Ulbrich is a regime puppet?

Do we care that Rodgers is likely a narcissist? Is Ulbrich a puppet?

  1. 1. Would you be happy if narcissist Aaron Rodgers won us the Super Bowl?

  2. 2. Do you believe that Robert Saleh demoted Hackett and then 5 minutes later was fired himself because of this? Just that simple?

  3. 3. Is there any historical evidence that narcissist Aaron Rodgers got a previous coach or teammate fired?

    • Yes, 'absolutely' and I'll list it in this chain
    • No, possibly some frustrations and certainly input but nothing abnormal
  4. 4. Was there any evidence that HC Robert Saleh could outcoach the opposing HC?

    • Yes, and I'd like to give a couple examples outside of the defense
      0
    • No, there were no flashing green indications
    • Who cares, HC doesn't matter. It's only up to the OC and DC
  5. 5. Was this team going anywhere with Robert Saleh?

  6. 6. The logical reason Jeff Ulbrich is Rodger's puppet is ..

    • He's not, why would he be, 'he of potential HC opportunities in the future without Rodger's finger up his a$$'
    • He is, mainly because he is in awe of the Hall of Famer
    • He's easily manipulated by narcissists
      0
    • He strongly believes that what the Jets Offense is doing is working, and believes it's not his role as HC to get involved
    • He looks up to Woody and refuses to push back, failing to recognize this might hurt future HC opportunities

First 10 to participate get an autographed copy of our very own @Joe W. Namath's book, "Steady now, hold firm to your beliefs".

Listen, winning cures everything.  I am upset with how things went down, but if we rattle off 4 straight, I will be thrilled.

This Monday nights game will be telling.  If the offense stinks as usual, we are in big trouble and the Defcon threads will begin.

The Jets are not a regime.  There an insignificant NFL football team that’s value is derived by being an NFL franchise and residing in one of the largest markets in the world.   Their fan base hates the team but loves the game and mostly supports the players.  The Jets are only relevant because the fan base is one of the most affluent in the world and corporations are willing to pay a fortune to advertise to them.

The team itself is almost irrelevant.   The owner’s only value is his wealth and willingness to buy influence with it.  Everyone from the GM down understands this.  It’s one of the reasons the team lacks passion despite staff that’s often hired for their passionate vibes.

It’s highly likely the change will be positive.  They can’t possibly be worse than Saleh as the HC and Hackett calling the plays.  Any change is likely to be better than the situation before the change.

Ulrich will not be a puppet.  He will do his best.  He’s not yet burnt out by the internal politics of working for Woody.   It will wear on him but he’s fresh right now.  JD is checked out.  The big question is Rodgers.  Is he completely checked out.  Is he willing to pull himself together, take the punishment required and the focus required to actually be competent?  TBD…

It probably was voted for as a joke, because the choice was so idiotic.

Hey what did I do to you?  Lol

The poll is a light hearted way of cutting thru the noise (he said, she said) of this whole firing fiasco?  Instead, will moving on from Saleh make the team better..

Also, whether we would see real changes as some HAD suggested Rodgers owns this team and all offensive decision making.

My next poll will be even stupidier

What happened is Woody Johnson is a Jets fan and was incredibly disgusted by the last two weeks. Probably like all of us felt the season slipping away and decided to do the one thing he can do to turn it around.

No .. I care about Rodger playing well.

I think Ulbrich has the capability to surprise and push through any puppetry. At least that is my hope. He seems to have integrity in spades.

I must have missed the news of Woody trading for Davante Adams.

I never want to get over-confident (or even confident) when it comes to the Jets but my initial impression of Ulbrich is a positive one.

Hate the poll.  All we know was Ulrich was the only possible replacement on staff.  That doesn't indicate he is or isn't his own man.

He is in a Win Win situation. He isn’t going to let Rodgers own him like Saleh and JD did. He either becomes the hero here and gets the permanent HC job , or he will have his pick of plenty of DC jobs. He and Saleh could be fighting over same jobs this offseason, maybe have a poll on who would get hired as DC first, between Saleh and Ulbrich ? Ha.

The win for Ulrich is if he does well and gets a multi-year deal as a HC for another team.   HC of the Jets without any route to a QB is a death trap unless Martinez turns out to be a quality NFL starter.

What has Rodgers done to be classified as a narcissist? Would like examples. When people are in group think and refuse to admit when wrong because someone who didn't go along with it was right (whatever the topic is), isn't that being a narcissist? If someone doesn't share the opinion of the group doesn't automatically make them a narcissist. Situation by situation basis.

Lots of situations with Rodgers going back years.
