Not sure what type of compensation Carolina is looking for considering all they gave up to get him. He could sit behind Rodgers next year and be ready to take over in 2 seasons? Have him compete with Jordan Travis
Beerfish
We are going to scramble to get a guy who's resume is worse than zach wilson? The cost would have to be throw away price. Carolina will not trade him in any case, certainly not for another year or so.

extmenace
22 minutes ago, Rhg1084 said: reclamation project? No, you can’t be making moves for the team when we don’t even know who the coach and GM will be. Woody has forced players and coordinators on coaches before and we’ve ended up with guys like Adam Gase. Ownership has to of learned by now that to get the best guys, you let them buy the groceries. Maybe in the offseason, def not at this years trade deadline.

Rich Thornburgh
Not a completely ridiculous idea. Unlike Zach, I actually think Young still has potential and could end up being a decent NFL QB. Sam and Baker Mayfield both got better after leaving the panthers who are as big a crapshow as the jets i would rather draft a Qb next May tho
Bronx
Project bust revival on a non-developmental franchise. Sounds about right for the NY Jets.

FidelioJet
I can't even believe this is a serious thread. I mean trading for someone else's dead weight is very Jetsy but that doesn't mean it's smart.
JoJoTownsell1
I would rather take my chances with Anthony Richardson. You can hope to fix his issues, you can't make Bryce young taller.
Adoni Beast
Would be a 3rd - 4th rounder probably and worth the risk while being cost prohibitive.
HighPitch
We need to draft a qb start making it a priority every year. Early

Bobby816
Never liked him in the draft. I just think he’s too small. You can get by being smaller if yoir built with some muscle and he’s not. Besides him just not looking good at all. I think he’s a huge injury risk as well. Id rather see what we have in Travis in 2026 season with 2 years learning. varjet
The Jets need a personality. This Northeast team that plays its home games outside needs a bigger, stronger QB. A little guy that runs around in circles is not going to work, which is why I did not like Travis either. We basically need Josh Allen or maybe someone slightly less athletic who can throw the ball downside. We need a personality that fits the stadium and the fans. Bryce Young is not it. 1
RoadFan
A smaller QB is OK, I guess, if he can move ala Russ and Kyler. Bryce Young is a shrimp and a pocket passer. A total outlier…

It's career suicide to go to the Jets. And no they shouldn't trade for this kid that has shown to not be good.
