Popular Post JoeNamathsFurCoat
I would extend DJR now. He's only 27. If the Jets care about "culture" as much as they say they do, this is the kind of player you want to build around. Sauce looks mentally checked out. Might be dealing with something in his personal life. Who knows. But there has to be something going on with him. The lack of confidence he's playing with is palpable.

rangerous
reed is good enough to keep. who knows what kind of alignment the next coach will want. if they go 3-4 then good corners are required.
David Harris
Jets won't admit the reality that they are cooked. Can't do it with the roster construction around AR and Davante 3 1 1
kevinc855
Why would Joe Douglas make a move for the future when he know he is a dead man walking if they don’t make playoffs. The only way JD can stay is if we pull off this miracle playoff run. Eliminating DJ Reed makes his slim possibility of a return less likely 3

I could understand DBs who are slow and unathletic grabbing and holding. But Sauce has 4.33 speed and is a great athlete. There's no reason for him to be doing this all the time. He's either lazy or not trusting his own ability. He has the recovery speed to make up for things even if WRs gain a little separation. He also needs to work hard on tracking the ball better and get in front of a Juggs machine so easy INT chances aren't squandered. Instead of playing the man all the time, he should be trying to make plays on the ball more.

Saul Goodman
Should’ve re-signed him rather than MCII, especially with Sauce’s rookie contract expiring after 2025. That being said, we should trade Sauce if we can get something like a 1st and 3rd, then re-sign Reed. Can’t give all three of them extensions. 4

Green Ghost
This is the exact kind of move the Jets should be looking to make today at 3-6. I wonder what Washington offered for him? Seeing Reed’s tweet just now tells you what Jet players think their chances are of making the playoffs. He wanted out and you can’t blame him. I don’t think it had much to do about their chances. More so if - why are you guys keeping me here, if I’m not part of your long term plans. Plus would probably have gotten a nice extension with WAS.

In Reed’s case that’s probably all true, but I still believe most of the locker room feels the season is over, and a lot of them would love to be sent off to good team like Washington rather than be here. 1

Every single one of our guys on their last year of their contract should've been traded. While I haven't given up hope to make the playoffs, we're a 3-6 team. We should be trying to load up on assets. Obviously it's not in JD's self-nterest to think beyond this year though. 1

JoeNamathsFurCoat
Reed seems a candidate for the franchise tag if they can’t work out a deal. I mean who else would they even consider? They’re not tagging AVT.
