It wasn’t Sauce’s fault…

The cancer is growing within this team. That response is not something you want to see from a key player. Too bad his stock has fallen to the point that we’d be lucky to get a 1st round pick in a trade.

He’s trending towards out of the league. I’m not being hyperbolic when I say this guy cannot compete at an nfl level. He is a complete zero as a player.

He is 100% correct. He has been missing tackles his entire career and that was NOT the costiliest miss and made them lose the game. They ALL contributed to that horrific, disgusting display of ineptness. It was costly yes, but the costliest? No

The coaching staff's got embarrassed yestersday and there was not a man in that lockerroom that was blamless.

While I'd be fine trading him (everyone on this team should be on the table), I don't agree at all that he's on his way out of the league.

He’s built like a palm tree and struggles in changing directions at whatever he weighs 180lbs maybe? If he were to gain weight he’d be a safety because he can’t run. He has zero ball skills and might be the worst tackler in nfl history.

Agreed.  But he definitely has trade value.  We got 2 #1s and a #3 for Jamal Adams.

Jamal Adams when healthy actually had some talent. The Seahawks also shocked everyone by giving up that.

going to have my shirt changed to read soft not sauce-dude should watch some old revis tapes to see how the actually play the position. Sauce always is holding, always has his back to the ball and never comes down with the ball-Revis locked down the best of the best in his prime-dude also almost 30 ints for his career

I beg who ever is the jets gm not to pay Sauce-

Never thought taking a CB that high in the draft was worth it in today’s game.

You only do that if you are 1 piece away from a championship but even then…cornerbacks have a short shelf live.

He isn’t as bad as people say and certainly was never as good as most thought he was in this soft zone 3 coverage defense.

Trade him in the offseason while he still has value.

Hes worse than people say. Will not back off of this take. He’s a legit horrific football player.

I hate this kid more than Mo Wilkerson or Revis.

Wilkerson just didn’t try and put in effort. Sauce tries he’s just a weak little sh*t.

Revis is a Jet legend - mercenary but his best years were with us….his true sin was going after Klecko….that is unforgivable.

It’s a context of value spectrum.

Is he a starter in this league with upside given his age? Yes.

Is he a liability due to his lack of physicality and ability to tackle? Yes.

Trade his ass out of here in the offseason for a 3rd rounder.

He’s not a starter. Can’t run, can’t tackle. The most inspired this team ever looked on defense was last year against Philly when he didn’t play.

Players win games but coaches put them in the right position to win those games.

I’ve always believe coaching in the NFL is far more important than the roster (obviously dovetailing the two is paramount) but I am even more convinced than ever. Look at teams with good HCs. They lose players, good starters all the time and barely skip a beat.

Point I am making is that until we hire a good HC I am far less concerned about our roster. I think a lot of these guys could and would be playing better with a real HC.

Do I want to keep Sauce? No…but it’s irrelevant who we have until we find the right guy to coach this team.

Vrabel would kick Sauce’s ass into gear

Would love to have Vrabel here.  I think he'll have options though so why would he want anything to do with this disaster of a franchise?  Maybe if Woody pays him double what some other team would.  I'd be fine with that, btw.  A good HC is a foundational piece.

EDIT:
Brian Flores would be another great choice.  He's another complete no-nonsense guy who would end the clown show.  I'd also enjoy seeing our players hate how hard he'd be coaching them.  This team needs that.

It's getting worse. They should sit multiple players for performance or attitude.

Woody want let that happen due to money. The only way players get benched is if they can figure out a way to present it as an injury.

Vrabel is not coming here because of Woody. He will want total control. This team needs a HC willing to call players out and not be afraid for their job or hurting someone's feelings!
