Looks like a star is emerging in Seattle

Recommended Posts

Somebody to keep an eye on when the Jets lose to Seattle after the bye.

For the third time this season, Seahawks WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba finished a game with at least 110 yards receiving.

After a year and a half of inconsistent target numbers, he's been THE guy over the past couple of weeks and has been unstoppable.

He's got 17 catches for 290 yds and 2 TD's over the past two games and for the first time in his career logged double-digit targets in back-to-back games.  I'd expect him to see that on a regular basis now.

Combining the past two games is doing a lot of work here. He got loose for a big statistical game in a loss against the Rams, then got another 110 this week with DK out. As soon as DK comes back, it’s back to de facto TE routes for young JSN.

DK is already back. He caught 7 for 70.

Zzzx will McDonald is better

and yea, JDN is what this team needs, cause Wilson and Adams just isn’t enough

Given the fact that Rodgers won't throw the ball beyond seven yards, he kind of is as a guy who gets open off the line and can make people miss.

Yea and Wilson and Adams don’t excel at that at all, never been their skillet🙄

I guess that's why the Jets are putting up so many points.

Yeah, I should do what so many others do and hold off on any predictions until after the results are in.

Rodgers needs more weapons

In his current state, there may not be enough weapons on the NFL to get results.  But of course the Jets gave up premium picks, tens of millions of dollars and several roster spots to make him happy.

Disagree

It’s refreshing to see a thread like this that has nothing to do with Brock Bowers

😂

Man.  JSN and Bowers.  Imagine that tandem.

Still blows my mind that people think you can take a young player doing well somewhere else and assume that if he was here it would be comparable.

Yea, we always lament missing out on these great young QBs, but the more I watch this team, the more I wonder what any of these guys would have done in this uniform. If we drafted Josh Allen in 2018, would he have overcome this losing culture?  Would he have gotten the opportunity to develop into the player he eventually became? What if we drafted Mahomes in 2017?

McDonald is T-5th in the league in sacks. This is just weird at this point.

Most of his sacks came in 2 games. He's been mostly a vanishing act the rest of the season. No sacks in 4 games.

Don't think I've seem a quieter/more irrelevant sack total put up on this team since Maybin.

He has to make major improvements.
