I will post a topic and the next person can either Buy or Sell it, then that person will pose a new Buy or Sell question and the next person will Buy or Sell it, and so on. And you can Buy or Sell to previous buy or sell's but you must Buy or Sell to the last post also. And make sure to provide another question. Hope you guys like the idea and have fun with it! Daunte Culpepper will not be 100% healthy until midway through the season and the loss of Ricky Williams will hurt Miami, plus their defense is aging and has a lot of holes in the secondary even with Jason Allen. Steve Smith now has a #2 WR to get the Seattle triple and QUADTRUPPLE (spelled incorrectly, I know) coverages he faced in the NFC Championship Game. The DLine, if it stays healthy is hands down the best in the NFL. Secondary is still solid and DeAngelo Williams and DeShaun Foster keep the running game to one identity which is easier for the OLine to get to know each runner since they are pretty much the same and both have the talent to be explosive game changing backs. Buy or Sell?: Miami makes the playoffs in 2006 Buy: The fins have upgraded their depth and youth at nearly every position and now have a franchise QB. Saban proved he could win last year with less talent. The fins won 9 games with the combo of Sage Rosenfels and Gus Frerotte. They now have Joey Harrington and Daunte Culpepper, big improvements over last years signal callers. The Oline was upgraded with the addition of LJ Shelton and Mike Pearson they should improve an already solid group. Miami also added WR Kelly Campbell TE Justin Peelle and FB Fred Beasley, With the return of WR's Chambers, Booker, Welker, TE Randy McMihael and the addition of Rookie Derek Hagan and Devin Aromashodu the Dolphins are deeper at WR then they have been in years. The one big loss the fins had this off season was Ricky Williams, however Miami still has rookie sensation Ronnie Brown who this offseason has added some muscle onto his already large 235 lb frame and is ready to carry the laod for the Dolphins. Ricky's loss will be felt, but Ronnie is ready to be the starter for the season. Look for the fins to upgrade their RB depth this summer if they don't they have solid depth at the position. The Fins have completely revamped their secondary the weakest part of their D. They have gotten younger in the process. With the additions of CB Will Allen a younger, faster, more athletic version of Sam Madison and the return of 05 Rookie Travis Daniels along with the return of Will Poole the fins CB's will get a huge lift in 06. But the fins didn't stop there they also landed DB's Renaldo Hill, Andre' Goodman, Michael Lehan and Deke Cooper the fins secondary now has depth thats younger more explosive and harder hitting. The Fins also used their first round pick on a player that was one of the most athletic CB/S in College Jason Allen. After all was said and done not only has Miami lowerd the avg. age of the team but they got bigger and stronger. The Fins are now starting to transform into a D that can attack from anywhere on the field which is the trademark of a Saban lead D. The depth at the LB position also got younger and faster with the additions of Sedrick Hodge and Keith Newman. Miami's Dline was already a top 5 line with Veterans Jason Taylor, Kevin Carter, Keith Traylor, Vonnie Holliday, David Bowens and Jeff Zgonina, they also have a nice rotation of youth with Manny Wright, Kevin Vickerson, and Matt Roth. The Fins also added two coaches to the staff with former HC's Mike Mularkey and Dom Capers both very respected coordinators in their proffession. Both were tops at their positions when coordinators. Add to the already deep and strong coaching staff in Miami and it's just one more area of improvement over the 05 squad. With all the positive improvements this offseason and the positive direction the team eneded the 05 season with. The Fins should have no trouble reaching the playoffs in 06. I dont think a QB is the only missing piece to their sucess. Plus what if he cant stay healthy like hasnt been lately? Plus there are too many other good and better teams in their way. Boy or Sell? - Chad Pennington will be relevant in 2006. Sell. Not a chance that he will be able to throw the ball even near the minimum requirements for an NFL QB. I applaud his determination and effort but given that Mangini is hard nosed and demanding, I expect one of his first passes in preseason to be a 15 yard out route to a WR. Chad could hardly make that throw when he was healthy. There is no way he'll be able to now without the CB getting a jump on the ball. Once Mangini sees that Chad's arm can't handle every required pass from an NFL QB, Chad's days as QB will be over. Buy or Sell: D Robertson will have a key role in the new 3-4 D this coming season. He works hard and he's very determined. With TJ Houshmanzadeh, Chad Johnson and hopefully Chris Jailbird Henry as his Top 3 targets along with Rudi and Perry in the backfield, the Cincy offense will be a force to reckon with once again. I'll go a bit further by saying Carson Palmer is the starting QB for the AFC in the Pro Bowl in Hawaii in February 07. Buy or Sell?: (Boozers question) D Robertson will have a key role in the new 3-4 D this coming season. Sell. Robertson is too small for a 3-4 NT and that isn't his style of play. Kurt Warner will be the starter for the Cardinals all season long unless injury occurs or if they get off into a slow start.
