The offensive line has more of an impact on a teams running game - Not the running back. Take a look at the Jets and the contrast between Jones in 07 and 08. he didn't go from one of the worst backs in the league to one of the best, our offensive line did. Jones stayed at same level - Average. My point is you can have a great running attack with average running backs. That's not the case with QB's and the passing game.
