Sharrow
The Bucs have a player in the top 5 of every position except catcher. Sean Casey has more votes than Lance Berkman, Freddy Sanchez has more votes than Miguel Cabrera, Jack Wilson has more votes than Eckstein, Renteria, and Jimmy Rollins. Freddy Sanchez is #4 among shortstops, and he isn't even on the ballot, all of his 597,249 votes are write-ins. 13 going on 14 consecutive losing seasons, on an 11 game losing skid. Now those are some loyal fans.

Mavrik
Ny, Boston and Cincy are the prime cities where this stuff usually happens. Pittsburgh is relatively new to this deal. They might be getting the hometown sympathy votes too considering the game is going to be in beautiful PNC park this year.
