Justin McCraphands is on his way out. A former Jet, Craig Yeast just became available. Mangini should give him a look

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats responded to their dismal showing in Friday's 29-0 loss to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers by releasing a veteran on Saturday morning.

Wide receiver Craig Yeast, who was second on the team in receptions, was let go.

Yeast has topped 1,000 yards receiving each of the last two seasons with Hamilton, and scored 11 TDs in that span.

Yeast had 25 catches for 298 yards and one touchdown this season.

The Ticats also announced that they released defensive back Mike Echols earlier in the week and added defensive back Lawrence Gordon, a 5-11, 175 pound native of Hallandale, Florida who spent his entire collegiate career at Florida Atlantic University.

by the way the 2nd rounder the Jets used for McC? Travis Leboy. who cares???

By the way Travis Leboy is a DE that the Jets never would've taken. Who cares???

By the way ignore the $31M contract the Jets gave to McC? Who cares???

By the way we STILL took a WR with a 4th-round pick anyway (Cotchery), so that's TWO picks we used on WR's. Who cares???

By the way, there were other positions of need/depth still available - T Max Starks (when we knew we weren't going to re-sign McKenzie), TE Chris Cooley (when we knew we weren't going to re-sign Becht), RB Julius Jones or Greg Jones (when we knew we weren't going to re-sign, or play, Jordan).

Who cares.
