Thoughts on Eric Mangini's camp..

Ask any Jet player and they will mention one of these three things;

Teaching...Learning...Improving..Consistency

Mangini has turned Jets camp into a classroom exhibit on "how to run a football practice". His press conferences continue to explain to us how football is played. His players continue to comment scripted interviews.

He is not the first coach to use loudspeakers. Nor is he the the first coach to make someone run a lap for making mistakes. He is moving too slowly along in training camp. Spending a night in the hotel with the team was a waste of time. He followed this with a full day off. They already had a day off the previous week. He should be showing his players a movie like "Texas Chain Saw Massacre". Whats next..."The Sounds of Music" maybe Chad and Curtis could hold hands singing "The Hills are alive..

Need I remind anyone that his camp is 1/2 of last years. The starters should be announced and the team should start planning for Tennessee...we just finished our goal line stand drills 2-3 days ago..cmon..we are learning how to run "the tires" and Tennessee is planning their strategy to beat our asses!

Here's what I have them saying...

Hitting...Physical...Toughness..I am sore! It is summer camp!

Wake up Adolf Mangini! Make a decision on your QB and RB and lets move this camp forward! Quit trying to show us "how much you know" about football and start working on schemes and strategies. Close the practices off from nuckle heads like fans from Jetnation forums and get down to business.

youre a clown

hahaha

Walk before you run Fat Man. You don't worry your little head about gameplanning for a meaningless exhibition game when guys don't even know technique yet. If we win all our preseason games & then have a crappy season, we win what's in Tx's signature. It doesn't hurt to win all the preseason games, but I'd rather they work on technique that wasn't taught the past 5 years.

Where were you last year Sperm? You don't think learning how to flip burgers and man a grill takes solid technique? That **** takes skill.

Oh, you were talking about football techniques. I stand corrected.

:cheers:
