me and my guitarist Glenn-doing all covers-Derek And The Dominoes,Allmans,Pink Floyd,Van Morrison,Grand Funk all old school rock n roll-man we were ON tonight.I'm gonna try and listen tomorrow and hopefully swich some stuff around on the website.

I am releasing 2 CDs very soon-one recorded with my band Tropical Storm in 2000 and the other a compilation of all songs I've written over the past 20 years living in Fla.-When it's done I'll post a link

Still pissed I had the recorder on pause and missed two hot Derek and The Dominoes songs-hey Dick Kotite we did an acoustic version of Comfortaably Numb-Glen's a good guitar player-I think you'll like it-I'm excited

I thought when it said you recorded "Live" tonight that you were covering such eternal classics as "I Alone"

Boy is my face red.

I know that one SE-I do it solo acoustic-oh yea Robbin won two box seats to Dave Matthews tonight at The Sound Advice Ampitheatre-we can't go and neither can either of the daughters. They're box seats right next to the mixing board-we gave them to my best (and Pats) friend Rich-hope he uses them they're great seats with parking

When did they start calling it that? I think I saw Sting there about 10 years ago. He was wearing some kind of weird red muscle body-armor like some homo Batman outfit.

I play a Takemine 6 string and harmonicas-thanks VG

Looking forward to hearing it SoFla.

Too bad we're 1600 miles apart, I'd love to have you come sit in with our band sometime and wail on your harps. We're losing our front guy/harp player and have been looking for over 2 months to find somebody that can play a good blues harp. Needle in a haystack. Our keyboardist can cover some of those bases, but theres nothing like a Hohner live.

friggin tapes didn't come out -there was some clipping and the electric didn't come through good enough-oh well it was a failed experiment.Time to go to plan B...

What I did was record on a 4 track cassette recorder because I like the warm sound you get from analog.

Next week we're bringing in the laptop and going digital-see how that works.

NJ-I play more folk type style on harp-think Neil Young Bob Dylan and Bruce-more that type than a blues wailer-what do you play?

I play the drums. We try to stick to 12 bar jump blues that gets the audience out of their chairs. Mojo, Caledonia, Tore Down ... that kind of stuff. But we also do some old standards like Last Dance with MJ, Powderfinger, Not Fade Away.

I know how you feel with the schwansed recording. We've had a few instances of hooking up a 24 track digital through the soundboard where we're playing and in trying to keep any of the distortion minimized - we turned down all the bias's and got doink. A good sound guy is worth his weight in gold.
