Fred Jetstone
Don't kid yourself, every team wants Bollinger, trading him to the Bucs, or anyone else, would be a $crew-up equivalent to, oh let's see, Chernobyl, Exon Valdez, Hindenburg, Titanic, etc.... What would the Jets even ask for a player like Bollinger, a team's 1st and 2nd pick for the next ten years? Bolly ain't goin' anywhere, folks. In fact, he's starting, right here, right now! I'd take a conditional 6th round pick and we wuold be lucky to even get that. They'll probably just wait for us to cut him.

CoachTsurfing
now hold on a minute, who is their back-up running back? Maybe we could trade Bollinger for a RB on their team. Or maybe package some players and a low round draft pick for their starting RB.

124
Bollinger may not be the odd man out. So far he's outplayed Ramsey and if he continues to do so in games then we may be looking at trading / releasing Ramsey instead of Brooks.

Unless they really, really want him or any other team for that matter, given the Jet QB situation with 4 QBs and one has to be cut the CW would be to wait til he gets cut. I would certainly hope that Mangini makes his decision on the QB merry go round after tonites game. The starting QB hasto start developing chemistry with the first team sooner rather than later. CoachTsurfing
I don't think they would give up Williams, who had a real good year last year, before he started to tire at. They used him alot from what I can recall. Pittman might not be too much of a reach for a trade. I'm not sure about his character though, I think he got arressted for hitting his wife or girlfriend. Anyone know about his situation?

Gibbon
Why the heck would the want Bollinger when they have rookie third string QB who is probably better than Bollinger right now and Tim Rattay (sp?) to back up Sims?
CoachTsurfing
I don't know why they would want him, I didn't start the post. I was just commenting on it. However, Fiedler isn't going to be ready to start for another 3 or 4 months. So maybe that is why. But if I have the choice of cutting a player for nothing or trading him for something. I'm going to go with trading every time.
