"Hi Bill? It's me, Eric. Yeah, I need a running back. Oh, you read that in the paper about Curtis, huh? And Lee Suggs too. Hmph. You weren't supposed to know about that - I mean I told everyone to keep quiet. Well, be that as it may, I've got a little bit of interest in Julius Jones. Yeah, him. Your starting halfback. I want him. What'll you take in trade?...What am I offering? Uh...we've got this great young corner. We REALLY like him, name of Derrick Strait. Won the Jim Thorpe award in college. Talented kid. Very talented. Plays safety too. Why don't I want him? Oh, I DO want him. Very badly. Shoot, would I bullshiit you Bill? What? No. No, I don't think you're fat - why? What do you mean assphincter says what. What? What's funny? Hello? Bill? Hello?"

With all of the garbage being thrown around here why not go after him?The cowboys have some depth there and he tends to end up in Parcells doghouse.

First off Parcells has historically been hard on his young runningbacks regardless of whether or not he likes them(ie. being in his doghouse)

I am curious where you got this information that Julius Jones was on the trading block this offseason? I'll be honest I read just about every nugget of information about the NFL all year long and never once heard anything about JJ being on the trade block or in Parcells doghouse...

Everybody thinks that the Jets should go after a bigger name player but nobody takes into account we will have the draft picks at our disposal to get one of the most exciting RB's to watch in the past 10 years. I'm talking about Adrian Peterson of Oklahoma. If you know who he is you know why we should be holding onto any chips we could use to trade up if necessary to get him in the draft next year.

If you don't know who he is check this out...

This "rumor" regarding Jones was in several NJ papers after the draft was over this year. I would like to see Peterson do something this year (will be a challenge with no qb) and stay healthy before being appointed the next great rb
