The Gun Of Bavaria
If the Jets gave up more then a 7th rounder for this POS they got taken. Barlow sucks.
NIGHT STALKER
"Contingent on Barlow passing a physical...." Here we go again...this is a RB that was on IR all of last season with a bum knee...well, hopefully, there are no lingering effects.
SoFlaJets
how many HBs are we gonna keep since we now have Barlow,Houston,Blaylock and Leon W-somebody's gotta go right? Who?
PatsFanTX
If the Jets gave up more then a 7th rounder for this POS they got taken. Barlow sucks. Rumor has it that the Jets used one of their two 2nd round picks to obtain Barlow.

The Gun Of Bavaria
Seriously though. 1st Suggs, then Barlow? Does this not strike you as a desperation move? I mean seriously, if this was 2 months ago and you mentioned Suggs or Barlow coming to the Jets you would have laughed. Don't lie.

Here we go again...this is a RB that was on IR all of last season with a bum knee...well, hopefully, there are no lingering effects. He had almost 600 yards last year. He went on I.R. for the last 4 games of the 2004 season I believe. He hasn't been the same since the injury but in 2003 he was lights out. They say give these guys a full year to recover...so the timing might be perfect. Worth a shot, I am sure it was a conditional pick. But they don't have anyone in house now that can get the job done so their options are limited.
SoFlaJets
so this mean that Houston goes or Blaylock?Leon Washington is not a guy I'd try to sneak by on the PS

Sorry, you are correct...I thought it was for the entire year. I know he didn't play in the 49er first preseason game. And he won't be playing for them tonight either. 124
Although sort of an injury proned type player, Kevan Barlow is a freakin' beast and I LOVE THIS pick-up. If it's a Day 2 pick this coule be a big time steal for us.

harris5214
wow why even bother trading for a back he sucks ****, i rather have gave up strait or mccariens than a draftpick.
Maxman
so this mean that Houston goes or Blaylock?Leon Washington is not a guy I'd try to sneak by on the PS I see it like this.... Houston is gone. He went in last against the Skins. Blaylock looked good. And Leon Washington locked it up last night. Blaylock is a better backup option if Barlow doesn't work out. Maxman
if its anything higher than a 5th round pick, we got ripped off. I bet it is a conditional pick. So it will most likely depend on yardage.

I have to agree on this one, If Barlow passes the Physical - - we get the player needed to replace CM this season if in fact Curtis is done. Unfortunately, we all believe that to be the point! harris5214
im still mindboggled over this, we have 3 other backs just like him, career backups. that gives us 4 career backups and 1 AARP runningback.

Smizzy
He is a decent back and better than Lee Suggs when healthy. He will give this running game some balance. Good move by the Jets. as long as it's not a high pick

madmike1
i have a feeling that the jets saw enough out of washington and blaylock last night that they are comfortable bringing a cheaper option in here and going RB by comittee...
