The Gun Of Bavaria
F-ing Steinbrenner even controls the weather apparently. Sure how convienent, the MLB leading Tigers come to town and the Yankees geta mysterious day of rest.
Bob
Rain cannot protect the over-rated Tigers forever.

At times it was a steady drizzle, but most of the afternoon was a steady to heavy rain. Cancellation was a no-brainer. But cheer up - you get to face Jarret Wright a day earlier. mbn007
Game one over and done. A tidy 2-0 win for the good guys from the Bronx. Wang (16-5) goes into the 8th to baet the Tigers. Robertson loses, and is 11-11. He pitched OK, but was in trouble several times during the game. Yankees now trail the Tigers by 2 games in the only column that counts, the loss column, for the best record in the AL. I believe that the Tigers loss means that this moment, right now, the Mets have the best record in Baseball. Congrats.

Congrats. ofcourse if the Mets played in the AL they'd probably have atleast 5 less wins
