Smizzy
Never seen a bunch of guys making this much money leave so many guys on base. Are we allergic to RBI's?
NYJ
Almost every player on the team thinks HR when they're at bat, and they want to hit a grand slam when no one's on base. They should just get back to the basics and focus on hitting the ball hard up the middle and getting on base any way possible. It's very, very frustrating to watch the Yanks right now. No heart at all.
124
We need to get A-Choke out of here, too bad there is no way we can. Oh and yet another terrific performance by Kevin Brown.
Jetsfan80
Ya wanna know why there have never been so many Yankee haters? This is why. The 1996-2000 Yankees were at least respectable, and won with TEAM BASEBALL. The payroll was at least within the realm of reason. Now? This is a team with superstars who care only about themselves as individuals.
Blackout
we need to get some young, up-and-comers on to our team, and replace the old deadweights. bernie has done alot over the years, same goes for posada, but this year both are playing flat out Met-like, while ironically the Mets are playing yankee-like

RichardSeymour
Yankees are 4-8 now. Unfortunately that won't last. With a payroll that big, and that many premium players.... don't worry. This is mostly just a small sample size. You guys are still going to win ~100 games this year. At the same time I am enjoying a few definite trends that have helped weaken your foundation. 1) Greying team 2) Less emphasis on OBP, walks. Still. It's April. You guys are going to win enough. 124
Would a single have made you feel better? A single or a homer, who really gives a sh*t. What matters is the scoreboard and at the end of the day, we lost again. 8 out of 10, yipee. Maybe, just maybe, they can win 1 out of 2 vs Tampa Bay? Or is that asking too much? Maxman
Guys this would be my lineup for the next game assuming a righty was pitching: 1. Womack - 2B 2. Jeter - SS 3. Sheffield - RF 4. Matsui - LF 5. Sierra - DH 6. Posada - C 7. AROD - 3B 8. Giambi - 1B 9. Crosby - CF Time to take the gloves off with AROD. Time to thank Bernie for time served and start planning his retirement luncheon.

faba
The Yankees have not been getting the clutch hitting going back to last year from their regulars but you are not going anywhere like any team in baseball unless you start getting some sound starting pitching and good relief. Check the statistics so far this year on the amount of runs your pitching staff is giving up.

TomShane
You guys should give the Mets Jason Giambi straight up for Mike Cameron. Seriously.
RichardSeymour
You guys should give the Mets Jason Giambi straight up for Mike Cameron. Seriously. The Mets would laugh at that offer. Hard. Maybe, mayyyyybe if the Yanks paid off the rest of Giambi's contract.
TomShane
The Mets would laugh at that offer. Hard. Maybe, mayyyyybe if the Yanks paid off the rest of Giambi's contract. Oh, no doubt. At least 10-15 mil of it to be sure, but Cameron is pulling a Johnny Abe and won't play because he doesn't want any part of right field even though the Mets have Beltran there. Ridiculous. To that end, it's a wash. You get a bad memory in Giambi out of the Bronx and you get back a legitimate defensive center fielder with some pop. It's clear that Giambi can't handle the pressure of being a Yankee, so maybe he loosens up a little bit and gives the Mets a nice 3-4-5 with Beltran, Piazza and Giambi.
