Matt39
Name one GM that would take PennyBoy over Eli Manning. I dont know. Im not a GM. I just watch the games. Eli as usual has been inconistent this season. Tonight he's just looked god awful. 6-16 doesnt cut it. Especially with the weapons he has.

jetfan4hire
Manning will get better every year. I'll take Manning. I'm a Jets fan, but I'm not unrealistic. jetophile
This always looked far more iffy to me. Hehe. I really hate games like this (Giants vs. Dallas). I've historically hated both teams, and I have to root for one team that only makes me fit to puke only ever so slightly less than the other. Still, I go for whoever makes life difficult for the Giants in their division for the most part. Go Dallas. Damn it. It feels so...wrong.
PeterNorth09
Yep. Eli looks terrible again tonight. His accuracy is a joke. Chad vs. Eli? In a meaningless regular season game I'd take Eli but in a big game especially playoffs I'd go with Chad.
PatsFanTX
but in a big game especially playoffs I'd go with Chad. Is that because of all PennyBoy's great clutch performances in the playoffs? Oh yea, he's a .500 QB in the playoffs.

Biggs
chad vs eli ? hhmmm.......got to go with chad only b/c if chad had all those weapons he would be taking the Gints to the SB IMHO !! You would trade Coles for Buress? How about Toomer for Cotch today? Chad is a completely different type of QB than Eli. The Giants run a down field passing attack. Eli is beating good teams right now on the road, Pennington is beating the dregs of the NFL right now with a dink and dunk misdirection O. For our team with our schedule Chad is perfect. He beats up on bad teams and doesn't lose games he should win. The Giants have a very tough schedule and need a QB who can make plays down field to win those games. Eli is much better for the Giants than Chad would be. Down the road when we step up in competition Chad is going to have to step up his game and prove that under pressure that he can make plays down the field. Eli played every bit as good last night as Chad did against Detriot. Same yards more TD's same INT's, less completions. Win on the road against a good team. How can you say that What has eli proven? ....Nothing except losing at home in the Playoffs and got left on a Dounut 0!! I just think that chad can manage a game better than eli and if chad had simular weapons he would be much more harder to D up against thats all I'am saying! LI Chad has about a C hair more cred then Eli. I do not think that Chad could handle the deeper passing. He is what he is. He is a precision short passer, not so much deep. Plus, give Eli 7 years experience like Chad has and then talk.

PatsFanTX
How can you say that What has eli proven? How about two road victories over teams with a winning record the last two weeks? When was the last time PennyBoy beat a good team? See the difference yet?
joewilly
not fair to compare. I daresay the gints now have the best oline in the league. they have tikki who is a big threat on every play. eli still looked scared in the pocket, made hasty decisions & threw 120mph fastballs over the middle that had no chance of being caught. His throws get tipped at the los a lot. sure in time he's gonna be a good one but he does not command an offense like chad does right now. I doubt we are 4-3 with eli at q'b. how many timeouts has chad forced other teams into so far? a no huddle is not easy to run & chad does it very well thank you, the managements friend
