The Yankees gave the Tigers bats farrrrrrr too much credit.

The Yankees were always around the plate and NEVER pitched inside, knocking guys off the plate (like they should have done with Monroe).

The Tigers hack at everything.

It was a recipe for disaster against an aggressive lineup. Luckily we had a sinkerballer in game 1, so the Tigers just hacked at everything and go out.

Mussina pisses me off, the guy is a wuss, plain and simple. He has pitched alot of GREAT postseason games for the Yanks, but the fact that he doesnt pitch inside and throw alittle chin music always comes back to bite him in the a$$ at the worst times. I do not want this guy resigned.

Tigers do tend to hack at swings frequently. Against the A's and Yanks, though they were showing some remarkable patience at the plate. But they've gone back to their old ways so far in teh series.

Guillen and Polanco are the only guys who showed any patience during this post-season for the Tigers. The rest are pure hackers, from the get-go.

And the Cards are taking advantage, unlike the Yankees and A's.
