124
He's also doing better then the second coming of Jesus, LaMont Jordan. Colston is having one hell of a year. If he keeps it up he's eaisly going to run away with the ROY award and if he plays like he has so far this year consistently for 10+ years he will be better then Wayne Chrebet. JohnnyHector34
Leon looks good!!!!! Let's not forget about Brick, and especially Mangold(i personally think he is gonna be better than Brick) If it's not for them, Chad is probably on IR again.....Way to go Rooks

After just 7 games in the NFL, Leon Washington is now the 2nd coming of Emmitt Smith? And BTW, Robert Edwards showed more than promise as well. #27TheDominator
What's the big deal? About 1,000 other backs had better moves than Emmit and had worse careers.
mbn007
i don't know if he's Emmitt, part 2........ But he does look like a keeper, with a nice career ahead of him, barring injury. He does need some 10 pounds though. 202 pounds is real lite for a RB.

afosomf
Leon was Mr Football in the state of Florida,,, in case dumb asses do not know Florida has got a crapload of talent. Emmitt Smith was not a burner, he was a shifty runner with very strong legs. Leon is a faster back than ES and has the shifty moves ala This kid could be as good or better than ES, time will tell, he just needs to bulk up a bit. Even with 10 pds added to frame he still is faster than ES Good comparison SJ
PatsFanTX
This kid could be as good or better than ES assmop too? I think Chad Jackson will be as good, or better than Jerry Rice. I think Laurence Maroney will be as good, or better than Jim Brown.

A lot of people felt Cotchery would be good if given a chance and he looks like he will be a big time #2 receiver or better and now Leon appears to be legit as well. PatsFanTX
COULD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The kid has loads of talent So did Ryan Leaf. Why don't you let the kid play for 4 or 5 years and then make your comparison to Emmitt Smith. After 7 friggn' games, it is totally ridiculous. Sounds like something that moron RamRodDumbAssRay would say.
afosomf
He Compares to Emmitt, doesn't mean he will have career as ES Aloso Emmitt had a great OL in Pokevile There bodies are similar, with 1 big difference outside playing weight, Leon is also a burner!!!!!!!!!!! afosomf
emmitt 5 9 216 pds Leon 5 8 202 pds Both were MR Football in state of Florida Leon is faster 4.4 vs emitts 4.6 Both have real strong legs and both are good receivers Again time will tell whether Leon will be in Smith class, one thing we do know is Emmit had an awesome OL, LEon does not....yet
Barton
I remember when we drafted Leon, SJ sayng something like "this is like the cowboys building the Oline and going with an emmitt smith" He's a burner.
PatsFanTX
If Chad doesn't get injured this year, does Brick get ROY? No, he isn't even the best performing rookie on the Jets OLine, let alone the entire NFL.
