Justin Miller is an idiot.

I am so tired of seeing this man with his back to the ball at all times. He has absolutely no concept of what is going on around him. He can tackle and run, but he has 0 awareness or seemingly any idea of how to play a reciever.

That play today was just absolutely embaressing. Not only did the idiot maul the reciever (as usual) with his back to the ball, but actually turned his head around the wrong way?

Unreal.

i actually thought that was a bad call. miller didn't touch the receiver after the initial jam.

If he wasn't the best kick returner in the NFL it would be a little tougher to root for the kid. He'll make a decent play on defense every once in a while but the rest of the time he looks completely lost. I'd say we could play a CB with only one arm and one leg and really not see much of a drop off from Miller.

He is at best..a good KR/PR. He's already demonstrated he has no instinct in coverage and finding the ball on defense. Keep him on special teams.

Basically spent a 2nd (or 3rd) I forget, on a KR specialist. Thank you herm.

He's in his second year and he's in a completely new defense. Maybe you should give him time to adapt. I think the Herm D was more keep the ball in front of you, while the new era is more straight man up cover corner. No shock he's getting beat. Plenty of young corners do, why give up on him so soon? Personally, I think Dyson has been doing a great job which is also going to lead to him getting picked on.

Justin Miller on defense is at best a Nickelback...Mavrik is right. We spent a 2nd round pick on a very good special teams player but nothing better then a #3 corner...not that bad of a deal but still he is not a starter and that's what we were hoping to get.

miller defended a pass in the endzone beautifully as well as gettin called pi on an identical play

That was a really good play, covering winslow.

The PI on jurevicious was BS.

Miller is only 23 and has all the tools, give him time. In the meanwhile, he's the best KO return man in the NFL. Not bad.

I wouldn't doubt he's one of the best KR returners. No doubt. But he's progressing a lot slower than most expected. I don't think he has learned enough from last year's mistakes as I would like him to have.
