Let me join the chorus of those saying the Jets sucked today...but if this isn't reviewable...why have the rule:

"By rule, let's play kill the refs. Dead by contact."

In all seriousness, winning outright is more pressing than ever. I understand the ruling, but if that wasn't a knockout, then I'm Marvin Hagler. Or at least Leon Spinks. It should have been called a TD. Baker was booking up the sideline a good two feet in bounds before he was knocked out in midair. Bad rulings preclude any chance you have to stay in it, whether or not you "deserve" to win based on game long cr*ppy play or not. Because we were outplayed means a bad call should take the game away from us? Utter garbage.

And yet in the Cowboys/Panthers game there were 2 official reviews at the end of the game, not sure why this was never was even considered by the refs.

It was not called a TD. Therefore, no review. Not reviewing isn't in question, it's the NON-CALL of a TD. But they got around it by saying there was no way of knowing if he would have come down inbounds, so therefore, no TD, not reviewable. That's why Mangini said, well, look at it. Not because it would be reviewed and overturned. But "look at it", as in you guys are blind and stupid. We got outplayed, but we also got scr*wed. Anyone who thinks Watermelon Haid to (insert Colts receiver of choice HERE) would not have had that called a TD is nutsy.

Cannnot review judgement calls.

Ref judged Baker would have been out. There was never a chance for it to be reviewed.

I've been saying that all day, that is if it were Payton to Harrison the ref would not have even blinked before raising his arms and giving Harrison a pat on the butt.

How about the Tuck call that your pretty boy brady got away with in the snow was that a "BAD JUDGEMENT CALL" or was that the refs at their best?

It was the correct call. Want to say it is a bad rule? Go ahead. I do not care. The NFL has yet to change the rule. Which suggests it is the best possible one.

PLEASE! would it have been the correct call if it was the oakland QB! Yeah it was the correct call because your team benefited from it!

Yeah, it would have.

The correct call is the correct call. Either way.

It was the correct call to not use replay - but it was a bad call.

The NFL needs to learn how to keep the replay system simple yet make it more effective. They should just let an upstairs boothman stop the game on close plays and end it. There would not be that many stops in play. But the NFL loves leaving loopholes and grey area rules out there for the benefit of the gambling community.
