Matt39
Just like Herm, WE NEVER BLITZ! Cant take this pussified defense anymore. The enitre first half I dont think we blitzed once. Charlie Frye sucks, but we let him sit back there comfortably.

Matt39
they blitzed alot in the second half I know. Which is why the D was a million times better. I thought the game was lost in the 1st half in the trenches with the inability to stop Reuben freakin Droughns and letting Frye pick us apart without getting touched. Alk
Mangini had the exact same problem in New England. We refused to blitz and our secondary got destroyed as a result.

Matt39
it was 10 - 3 at the break Ok. They were physically dominated.
bitonti
Ok. They were physically dominated. even if the defense pitches a shut out do you think 3-0 at the half would have held up? the offense needed to do their job and they didn't.
madmike1
In order for blitzs to work you have to get to the QB and early in the game the jets wern't getting there.

The Troll
Why blitz? You guys don't enjoy watching our defense get torched by people like JP Losman, Joey Harrington, and Charlie Frye?
#27TheDominator
Why blitz? You guys don't enjoy watching our defense get torched by people like JP Losman, Joey Harrington, and Charlie Frye? Charley Frye torched us? 141 yards passing with a TD and a pick? I'm a little more concerned with Droughns dropping 125 yards on us. Losman put up big numbers, but in case you forgot, I think they blitzed him plenty and won the game based on the two forced fumbles on blitzes by Rhodes. Even in that game I'm more concerned with McGahee going for 150 on 6 per.
