joewilly
what kind of rural area/neighborhood are you in for trick or treating? my kids are older now but as its not celebrated too much here, I would drive the kids to a few select condo projects where the expats lived & it was like shooting fish in a barrel. a massive amount of candy in a very short time. growin up in a small town was awesome though for halloween. cutting thru the parks was very scarey though til you got old enough to do the scarin. enjoy the huge night tonight all! JetFanByMarriage
same here...not too many houses near me..so we take our time..but there bags fill up quickly...lol We have plenty of neighborhoods to hit. I will do the smaller one first so the little guy can trick or treat and then take the older guys out again after dinner for some more.
joewilly
cool, being a jet site I was wonderin if the door to door stuff is good in the big city or not. man we used to do a lotta walkin as kids. It got to where we knew what houses had the good candy bars & we'd walk the whole city (population 8,000 at the time)to get them

Alk
We live in a small town of about 3,000 people. The kind of town where you pretty much know everybody so we can go door to door without worrying too much. Except for the crazy neighbor that murdered his three children and tried to murder his wife. But he's gone now. They have a thing called "The Witches Wail" where all of the kids can play games and sign up for the prizes. The catch is at 9:00 when the Witches Wail goes off (the tornado siren) you have to be at home because that's when they start calling the winners of the drawings.
