The Troll
Ah, the most useless stat in all of football. Way to make your point Troll. I disagree that it's useless. It shows how efficient a QB is. You also disagree, whenever it supports your opinion.
faba
Ah, the most useless stat in all of football. Way to make your point Troll. I remember someone pointing out Chad's rating against Cleveland-I wonder who that was. His rating was justified I might add.
PatsFanTX
I disagree that it's useless. It shows how efficient a QB is. I agree, but the only problem is NFL QB's should be measured on "productivity" and not "effciency". If you saw the Monday nite game last night, that was the perfect example between the two. serphnx
Can we add their records?? Tennessee 2-5 Arizona 1-7 Tampa Bay 2-5 We're on Week 14 of the season already? I don't know how else those QBs got those starting records without having started that many games yet. Young is what, 2-1 as a starter, with a loss to the Colts, Leinart is 0-4, and Gradowski is what, 2-2? I think Young has done well. Excellent progression so far. I could have swore he only completed 7 passes and was aided by defensive and special teams touchdowns. The 5 Texans turnovers didn't help him out at all either. BTW, Young is 2-2 as a starter. I didn't see the game, I just know he ran in a TD and passed for 1. He also didn't turn the ball over. I don't pay too much attention to non-Jet teams, especially non-Jet weak teams, so I don't know his entire statline or anything. I just briefly looked over stats and scores for the week on sunday. Producing 2 TDs yourself without turning the ball over in a game you win is a good indication to me that you played well. I don't care about stats or rating or anything like that. Matt39
Young has played pretty well. He's got great poise in the pocket. Both him and Leinart will be good.
NJ
Can we add their records?? Tennessee 2-5 Arizona 1-7 Tampa Bay 2-5 Good point Tony, but the Patsie supporter (kinda like an athletic supporter) will only come up with some reason why that data isn't valid either. The BOTTOM LINE IS Leinart, Young, Manning (either), Unitas, Montana, Sammy Baugh... I don't give a $hit who... would have spent their injury shortened season compiling horrific numbers as they ran for their life after every snap with the Jets 05 offensive line. Putting band-aids on that mess would have been 1st degree stupidity. We did the right thing and it will continue to show as the organization fix's more of what's broken. tick tick tick

Brady: 92.2 QB rating PennyBoy: 82.3 QB rating It's still a stupid stat that doesn't tell the whole story.
PeterNorth09
Ah, the most useless stat in all of football. Way to make your point Troll. Yeah what a great example of someone using useless stats to try to spin he's right. This idiot is still trying to convince the football world 5 years later that Michael Vick is a bust in the NFL. Hey, how's Broken Croyle working out right now? He was supposed to be a better passer than Leinart and Young? Vince Young almost beat the Colts on the road, he beat Washington and the Houston Texans and he's playing on one of the the worst teams in the NFL. I look forward to Troll creating another Troll to hide in the next few years when Leinart and Young are having success in the NFL.
