At least he has been honest...unlike the Flaxseed mofo by the bay. GM will be a met but now it looks like he wont pitch till the end of May. Are you telling me it was the 'roids? Seriously, I wonder if he really knew what he was taking. There are quite a few Latin players who have been caught, at both the Major League and Minor League levels, who may not understand english that well. Your panties are a little bunched there. Im sorry, you must be confused. Witch hunt? The man was just suspended 50 games. It doesn't take a 30 yr vet of the police squad to figure out what he got 50 games for. You felt the need to bash all Yankee fans for what 1 guy said and now my panties are in a bunch for calling you on it? It sounds to me like the Mets fans are the ones who need to go change their tampons. Maybe you should take a little break from the baseball forum until the sting of that NLCS loss goes away a little. Even after a good season...the only thing Mets fans are concerned with is making sure Yankee fans realize they had a good yr. LOL. That is really pathetic. NJ
He had to be ticked up to throw that 0-2 groover into Spezio's wheelhouse. I still call that the turning point of the NLCS.
toon88
He had to be ticked up to throw that 0-2 groover into Spezio's wheelhouse. I still call that the turning point of the NLCS. agreed. maybe LoDuca ratted him out to MLB after he told Mota he wanted another change up to Spezio, TWICE, and Mota insisted on throwing him the 0-2 fastball. LoDuca's press conference after that game was priceless, throwing Mota under the bus.
Latinlawyer
agreed. maybe LoDuca ratted him out to MLB after he told Mota he wanted another change up to Spezio, TWICE, and Mota insisted on throwing him the 0-2 fastball. LoDuca's press conference after that game was priceless, throwing Mota under the bus. The guy was missing the changeup..he was dead to rights....so Mota decides to throw a FASTBALL...which he had barely just fouled and BANG...series changed. Next time, listen to your catcher. Even yank fans must admit, Mota did own up to it and accepted responsibilty for it instead of every other player who went before congress and a grand jury. At the very least he admitted it. I dont like the whole juice thing and 50 games is a long time but he was honest and admitted it. Not many MLB'ers do that at all.... Mota will be back with the Mets...watch that! Also...Mets 2006 all juicers? Snif Sniff...124 smells like spite. 124 is just sad that his team was a tick in the playoffs...couldnt extend the tigers except for game 1. I respect the other yank fans but 124...sometimes you just have no sense of intelligence. LL

NJ
he wanted another change up to Spezio, TWICE, and Mota insisted on throwing him the 0-2 fastball. I'm even ok with the cheeze Ed, but put one or two off his earlobe and see if he'll go for one or at least get him off the plate. But that dillwad grooves it right down the pipe. I don't get it. All I know is I've had to listen to endless drivel from all my Card fan "buddies" when they should have been cleaning out their lockers.
