Baker "No TD" on YouTube

Man, I thought it was a force out from the first time I saw it, but this footage is indisputable. What a robbery! At least it wasn't a playoff game and this year wasn't going to be a super bowl year anyway, so I'm over it, but that picture is incredible.

I don't know if his foot was down but there is no doubt in my mind that he would have at least had one foot in bounds if he wasn't pushed out of bounds.

The second foot? I'm not so sure. Baker isn't exactly the most graceful guy.

exactly DNA-if it was a pass from Manning to Harrison it would have immeadiately been called a TD-I have no doubt in my mind-but since it's ONLY the Jets....

C'mon SoFla, you are better than that.

Why would the NFL care about a Jets/Browns game? It is a conspiracy, I tell ya, a conspiracy!

what gets me Gainzo is I'm watching one game and on break I switch over to another and see the same play being called a fumble-I saw Jake Plummer get tackled and fumble and the exact same play happened in the Jets/Browns game and it isn't even questioned.Harrison dives for a pass in the EZ and NEITHER foot touches in bounds and it immediately is called a TD-what gets me is the inconsistency this year from one game to another

When can we just let this go?

LOL! considering people still bring up gastineau's roughing the passer hit on kosar... and that was 20 years ago... yeah i know that was a playoff game...

so i would say in about about 7 years or so ...we might be over it ;)

I think this may be one of those calls you don't ever let go, but 7 years might be a good start.;)

Add on to the fact that a good portion of us were sitting in the stands with our hands raised to signify a touchdown and I think this one may be with me forever.

pretty cool, I think Baker should be the poster boy for the forceout

The "force out" rule in the NFL needs to be changed to eliminate calls like what happened to Baker on Sunday.

Either you come down with both feet in bounds or you don't, regardless if a defensive player "forces you out of bounds".

If the rule was changed, this type of play would become black and white and open to review. "Judgement" calls have no place in the NFL.

Because this type of rule would give an advantage to the defense, the NFL will not make th change.

Stupid rule as is.

It does seem rather non-football'ish to get credit for a catch when you don't even land in bounds. Football used to be about hitting, and, in general, they have slowly eliminated that facet.

Just imagine the NFL making rules like this the early days of the game, the league might have never taken off!

A 258 pound guy coming down like that?

Definitely both feet would have been in-bounds. The ref blew it big time.:Cuss:

the replay actually shows it woulda been almost physically impossible to land with both feet out of bounds. credit to the db viscous hit indeed.

I see the rule being changed to all plays involving the endzone be reviewable. if that same play occurs on the 30 yd line, it is easily forgettable.

After your "Is She Hot" thread in the Lounge?

Give me a friggn' break, at least it was football related.

BTW, which one of your 9 words did you have to edit?

What happens in the lounge, stays in the lounge.;)
