PFSIKH
Can anyone one tell me the reason KC hosts the Broncos on Thanksgiving Night in a late game? Is this going to be permanent? Is it going to rotate? I see the NFL Network is broadcasting it.

Give us a a decent game and we will watch. Plus they are the "NFL Network"
Lady Jet
I think it's a wonderful idea, but unfortunately my cable carrier, Time Warner, is refusing to carry the NFL network. If it wasn't for the high-speed online, we probably would have dumped them by now. I hope they get this worked out so we don't have to miss any games. Barton
Who the F are the Lions? Seriously. Why does this team get a thanksgiving game every year? Is this set in stone or something? When did it start, because of Barry Sanders? I understand that, because he was just so fun to watch, but get a reality check, he's been gone for 6 years. The Lions shouldnt even be considered for a thanksgiving game. They are a pathetic NFL franchise. It should be a rematch of the AFC and NFC championship games, or a superbowl rematch in 1 of the games. This would at least make the games fun to watch alittle. faba
The games might not be the most exciting but there is something about tradition with the Lions on thanksgiving-it would not seem the same without seeing them as I grew up watching them every Turkey day. 124
Joey's return to Detroit. OH BOY!!! Anyways, Barton, the Lions should remain on Thanksgiving because it's a tradition...however, the opponents changing each year is stupid and should stop. We need to go back to the normal Thanksgiving games. Bears @ Lions early game Redskins @ Cowboys late game It should not change and it should go back to the old days with those 2 match-ups. AND NO FREAKIN 8PM GAMES PLEASE

Because the entire organization and their putrid fanbase have nothing else to cheer for and look forward to year after year. Thanksgiving is their one time to be in the national spotlight before they traditionally spend the rest of the season as an embarassment.

Not that it will affect anything, but if you goto the NFL network site. There is a link that says who broadcasts the NFL Network. It allows you to fill an online fax form and send it to your cable company requesting the NFL Network.
The Gun Of Bavaria
They ought to have the Jets come to Detroit for a game against the Our Lady of the Blessed Schroud Orphanage in primetime. The betting line would be interesting indeed. If Sister Mary Magdaline starts at RB, the jets might be 4 point dogs.

I honestly dont give a sh^t and dont see that as a good enuff reason. No other fan base wants to watch a game between 2 horrible teams. The NFL dropped the ball this year, these games are meaningless.
