Garb
Troy Brown is one reception away from tying Stanley Morgan's All-time Patriots reception record and two from being numero uno, baby! Here's hoping he gets one reception on Sunday nite and several the following Sunday when I'll be there in my #80 jersey. BINGO!

joewilly
you have a point there. I kinda think though that if we did a poll on fun facts on this board, pam's breast size would beat troy's catch's 11 times out of 10. I'm gonna ask green dna what he thinks in the meantime

Gainzo
Ah the old days of football, when WR's actually went deep regularly. COME BACK WESLEY! The mid '80's in the AFCE: Toon, Morgan, Clayton. WR's running wild. 52-48 scores. Good times.

Gainzo
Toon was not a deep threat, he was more of a possession receiver. Now Wesley Walker, he was a deep threat Toon had his share of 40 plus yard receptions if I'm not mistaken. Disclaimer: My family moved to the States in April of '86 so in my first few years following the Pats, and the NFL, I was still learing the rules, etc. I did work out pretty quickly that Dan Marino was an arse and that Tony Eason was a wuss! He had some plays where he could get some YAC, but his forte was using his body and out working a DB to the ball. he averaged 12.8 YPR in his career and his highest season was 14.4. these pale against some of the other guys you mentioned. The Big Green Douche
Toon was not a deep threat, he was more of a possession receiver. Now Wesley Walker, he was a deep threat Toon only became a "possession" receiver later on in his carreer due to the fact he was constantly "concussed" thanks in large part to Kenny O'Brien's high passes in the middle of the field. Thanks Kenny, thanks alot.

Thanks Kenny, thanks alot. I'm sure the 1/8 of an inch of astroturf covering the concrete at the Meadowlands didn't help his cause either. Same can be said for Foxboro, Orchard Park and Indy back in those days.
