You are approaching it all wrong. Tell Max that Dunkin Donut has a new doughnut and when his eyes glaze over in a Homer Simson type coma...slip the college forum sports thing in. GreenBeans
As good as Butch was in Miami, I doubt anyone can make UNC a football power. Mack Brown had them to #5 in 1996 or 1997 (can't remember which off the top of my head). Butch can do the same - Carolina is not a tough sell once you get a kid to visit the campus. Excuse my ignorance but I can't recall a time in the last 20 years where UNC was in firing range of the Top 20. Let me get on google............ Let me get on google............ I think it was 1997 - they were ranked 5th and lost (badly) at home to FSU (ranked 1 or 2 at the time). Then Mack left for Texas. SouthernJet
As good as Butch was in Miami, I doubt anyone can make UNC a football power. with all due respect BS... UNC a sleeping giant,, easy to recruit as one of most beautiful campuses in US along with Top 30 academics.. Dont forget, Mack Brown had UNC in Top 10 last two years he was here , Top 5 his last year, before he went to Texas.

JetCane
This is a good gig for Butch. There wont be an immediate demand to win, and he has nowhere to go but up with this program. I think its a good match. That he didnt end up at Miami tells me that they will hire someone who is currently working somewhere else right now (not necessarily Schiano- could be an NFL coordinator, too).
