when a WR returns punts...good or bad?

I have Bernard Berrian (WR) from Chicago. They're saying that their regular punt returner (a CB) is out and Berrian might be used in his place.

So,

-Do those running yards get counted like YAC yards?

-Will the coach still use Berrian as a WR, or will they use him less?

Trying to decide if this is a good thing or a bad thing.

Berrian has been hard to read and with Grossman now throwing more to Clark it could be tough for him. In addition it is clear that Muhammed is his go to guy so even less chances for him. As for the returning duties it depends on the league that you are in.

I sold high on Berrian and got Roy Williams out of the deal. I couldn't be happier.

With those Chicago winds blowing the rest of the season, I don't see many more Grossman to Berrian bombs in their future. Berrian also catches less than 50% of the passes thrown to him.
