No arrests right? Good time to work on a Saturday.

Actually I made one. I grabbed the Laser and sat on the freeway today padding my ticket count. 10 more and I get a free toaster oven. :) After my 5th ticket (relax that was people doing 90/65 and higher!) I locked a guy up whose license was suspended 11 times and had 3 prior convictions. Easy ass arrest but it keeps the bosses happy.

Nice work. The Mass State Troopers were out in force today on my trip up to NH to see my sister. They were doing the speed enforcement thing.

Funny thing is that the road has a speed limit of 55 and we all do 70. Those idiots who get pulled over must be doing 80-90 and switching lanes.

IMO: You have to try to get pulled over on a major highway.

If you look at a map of the metro Detroit area, you'll see a freeway running West to East above Detroit known as I-696. It's nicknamed the Michigan Autobahn because the 65mph speed limit is merely a suggestion and since I moved here in 1990, no one has drive that speed. There are sections that are sunk below ground that wind in and out of the Northern Suburbs and even thru a couple short tunnels making it fun to drive.

I don't pull anyone over until they're at least doing 21 over (86 or higher) and on days like today I bump up the minimum to 90. Today I had 5 tickets in 2 hrs all at 90 plus, with the award winner going to the man at 98/65. It's like fish in a barrell down there.

Gunner - what about route 96 running out to Lansing. Thats the same deal there. If you ever get in the right lane for any reason you have to really be carefull pulling back out into the left lane because a lot of the cars are traveling at or around 3 digits. I'm very comfortable driving at 85 but I really watched what I was doing the years I was making that trip every other week.

Russell has size but sometimes he makes stupid decions. 1st quarter when he was hurt & knocked out for a series he had a DE rapped around his ankle and he continues to move his leg around making the DE snap it back towards the ground and he almost caused a fumble. Bring the ball in and fall because you were going down no matter what Russell. Do not leave a chance to fumble or throw an interception.

Also, he definitely fumbled on the final possession for LSU. No matter, with 2 losses the best they can advance is a BCS game but not the title game.

Gotta love that Vols redshirt Freshman QB..he really played great and you gotta love Robert Meachem.
