And the Jets would kill to have a few players like Harrison on their soft roster.

Don't bother, TX. Blackout is new to this Football stuff. He's alot like those band-wagon soccer teams. He says stuff he thinks will get a good response so people will think he knows what he is talking about. He just wants to fit in and enjoy the party. Poor kid. Can't be easy trying to fit in when you've spent your entire life reading a baseball almanac.

Rodney Harrison is still one of the best safeties in the game and I'll take him on the Jets anyday...terrible news for the Pats if he's out for the season but great news for us as long as he's out for Sunday.

Harrison is a tough ,physical ,hard hitting Pro bowler. He was my favorite S in the NFL before he went to NE. The guy might be dirty but we all crave a player like this on defense.

That said....He is more injury prone than Pennington...LOL!!

I don't like to see anyone hurt. Still, if it was going to happen, too bad it didn't happen idiotically off the field. Like he was playing 'Stunt Man' by flying across the hood of his neighbor's car. While it's moving. Not that I know anyone who has ever done such a thing. Hehe.

The Boston Globe reports that Rodney Harrison suffered a broken shoulder blade (scapula), but will not require surgery.

No timetable has been announced for Harrison's return and one is unlikely to be forthcoming from Patriots camp. New England's already shaky secondary would be vulnerable without their leader. This report may be a direct response from the Patriots to an NFL Network report that Harrison may have torn his rotator cuff.
