PeterNorth09
Yankees seem to be headed towards making the right moves this off-season. First, they're making pitching the top priority. They're focused on getting this Matsuzake guy from Japan who's supposed to be good and next on the list Barry Zito. Add those two starters and get rid of the old crap like Sheffield and the chokers like A-Rod and you're looking at a Yankees team that will have a much better shot at next year's World Series trophy to crown Joe's career. uart
Zito is the best LHP available. Adding him would be the best move the Yankees could make. (Technically Pettitte is available, but he's prob. not interested)
Maxman
This kid from Japan is interesting. He was so dominant in the Classic that he is going to be rich very soon.

uart
I hope he is as good as everyone thinks. Yankees need a dominant lefty though. Explanation so I don't have to re-type it...
The Troll
Yanks will never win jack with ARod and his .959 career OPS. They should trade him to the Cardinals for David Eckstein. Can you imagine Jeter and Eckstein in the same lineup? Holy ****, those scrappy bastards would be unstoppable.
madmike1
we should find out about matsuzaka soon. here's one yankee fan who hopes he's wearing the pinstripes next year.
uart
The Seibu board was supposed to meet to discuss the offer before the end of this week. So tomorrow (or is it today) seems like a good time to hear about it.
Sharrow
Considering all the teams that dropped out of the Matsusaka bidding, I'd say its a sure thing the yankees bid the highest.

If Hicks got involved, one never knows. He is dumb enough to make an outlandish offer.
