Blu-Ray is better space wise and has more support from studios...

Also HD-DVD is not made for games while Blu-Ray is, the add-on for the 360 is just for movies...

So basically the Blu-ray has movies and games and has more people backing it...

Buy a PS3 is what im getting at...

Microsoft will have to come out with a new or upgraded 360 to compete

I will prolly buy a Wii. I had a 360 but returned it. I was extremly unimpressed.

If you can play with that controller than more power to you.

I appreciate Wii trying to be creative but I can't deal with that stupid controler. It looks like it'd be so annoying to play like that and it doesn't seem like it would work for certain types of games.

The only games I would want to play on 360 at the moment are Halo 3 and Gears of War. Other than that, nothing on that system impresses me all that much.

I'd prefer a PS3, but I'm not spending a dime on it till it drops into the 200-250 range..which will be a long time

I am going with the PS3 (after the price drops - significantly) because Sony is going to make a good baseball game for the system. The only baseball game available for XBOX 360 is MLB2K and the series is atrocious. So since the rest of EA's and SEGA's games are available for both systems Sony's baseball game has tipped the scales into PS3's favor for me.

I thought MLB2k had exclusive licensing rights? As a matter of fact I'm about 99.9% sure that is the case and the reason EA only came out with a college baseball game this year.

They do, but just like the football contract that EA has with teh NFL the only other way a company can make a football or baseball game is if they make a video game system. In Sony's case they make the playstation so they are allowed to make a baseball game. They could also make a football game too if they wanted. Microsoft could also make a football and baseball if they chose to. EA cannot make a baseball game and Sega cannot make a football game because obviously they do not make any game systems.

Sony had a very good baseball game out last year for the PS2. MLB The Show.

You have a PS2? Im surprised you didnt hear about Sony's game. I heard it was really good, right up there with MVP Baseball from two years ago.

No I never heard of it. I will have to check it out. I loved MVP from two years ago.

I was going to get Playstation 3 but with the Blu-Ray jacking up the price I went with 360.

I see myself as a casual gamer, I mostly get sports games, but when I see a game that catches my eye on TV, it usually is for XBox. Xbox releases alot of exclusive titles, while Playstation doesn't. That pretty much sold me, and now I'm loving Gears of War. ;)
