Draft Day 1 grades on MSNBC...Jets get a D???

They're full of crap, for the most part. Nugent, despite being from Ohio State, is the best kicker to come out in years. And, it's not like they used a first round pick on him. I think when Fatakowski came out, the writers were tripping over themselves to give the Raiders an A. Ah well, what does it matter what the media says? We feel the Jets did awesome, so what does it matter?

Nothing new SS. The media trips over themselves to give everyone BUT the Jets credit. Who gives a flunk!

Relax guys, EVERYONE knows that these people don't know anything.....unless they're supporting your attempts at bashing the Patriots draft of course.

Eh, that's not true. They don't know anything, reguardless. It doesn't matter if they support my claims or not.

Besides that, this guy is so far up Belly's behind, he gave em a B. So, quit yer whining.

NEW YORK JETS - There's always somebody who doesn't do their homework, and the Jets appear to be that team this year. They traded their first-round pick to the Raiders in exchange for veteran tight end Doug Jolley when they could have stayed in the round and landed Heath Miller, who is younger, cheaper and a better receiver. a valid point - but then no Nugent and Heath Miller isnt a sure thing by any stretch

Then they draft a kicker, Mike Nugent, in the second round. Nugent was well thought of, but he better be Lou "The Toe'' Groza to justify this.

My money says he is and then some They made a bit of a comeback in Round 3 landing cornerback Justin Miller, who can double as a dangerous kick returner, and then defensive tackle Sione Pouha from Utah. They better get a lot out of the kicking game to justify giving up their first pick for Jolley.

What do you expect from some Chowder Slurper from the Bahstin Globe?

MSNBC???

bwahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahaha

And if they gave the Jets an A for hood winking the Rai-duhs into taking that first for Jolley and then using the second for a kicker, you would be prasing it like it is the bible.

It is funny how all the Patriiots' picks are 'reaches' and the Jets' picks are 'great values' at that pick.

Ha, ha, ha.

Jets screw up another draft. =D>=D>=D>

Nice job Boobway.

Tex look how much value they got for drafting Lamont Jordan in the second round. =D>=D>=D>=D>

I guess they figure a kicker is a safe bet.

The kickers drafted since 1993.

So your saying, for some reason or maybe the rest of the NFL FOs were in a food coma from a Herm catered barbecue, 5 other teams passed on that first round talent in the second? Of course all five of thse teams have been to a Superbowl in the last 10 years and 3 have actually won it.

Ok, if Mankins sucks why then did Brown come off the draft board after four other teams drafted a G?

I for got you are a draft guru. #-o
