Adrian Beltre: .247, 1 HR, 14 RBI

Through 20 games in Seattle, Adrian is on pace for .247, 8 home runs and 113 RBI

in 2004 for the Dodgers he hit .334, 48 home runs and 121 RBI

talk about taking the money and running for it

edit ha ha, looks like Beltre hit a 2 run homer tonight. make that 2 home runs and 16 RBI with a .253 average

This guy did nothing until his contract year. Now that he has his contract he goes back to being nothing. This is one guy who really needs a steroids test.

i dont think hes on roids, i just think he has no motivation now that hes got his $11 million contract

if the Yankees hadnt gone after A-rod (and had kept Soriano), I guarantee you they would've went after Beltre and would be getting hosed like Seattle is now

Beltre is not the biggest free agent bust of 2005 at all, not even close

Magglio Ordonez

3 games played, 6 at-bats, 0 hits, 0 Hrs, 0 RBIs. .000 AVG.

Out 2-3 months with a hernia.

Now honestly... did you expect anything different? This is the Tigers we're talking about here. Did you honestly expect this to play out any other way?

They're freakin cursed.

At least the Tigers were smart enough to be able to back out of Ordonez contract if he spends enough time out on disabled list- if only the Mets did that with Mo Vaughn!

Only if it was for his knee. The Tigers are screwed. And, this was the only way it was going to go for the Tigers. They're smooth like that.
