shawn306
Here come the Red Sox freefalling their way to the bottom of AL East where they can join us. Seriously though. I think Sox fans are finding out what Yankee fans learned 2 weeks ago. The Orioles can flat out hit the baseball. Roberts, Sosa, Tejada, Palmiero, Lopez and throw in some good young hitters like Bigbie and Gibbons, with this has become a very solid if not potent lineup. If Ray Miller can keep working his magic with pitching this is a team that may be able to hang with the Yankees and the Sox all season.

Although, the Orioles hype will quickly wear off when teams get used to their new line up and pitching staff. Coaches on other teams will learn how to pitch that pip squeak Brian Roberts. He's a good ball player but now people are going to be gunning for him. The O's P staff has made a remarkable turn around but they don't have the firepower or endurance to last a whole season. Orioles will be in 3rd place come the Allstar Break.
TomShane
So you're saying that the O's are better than the Red Sox and the Yanks? But if the Sox are better than the Yanks, and the O's are better than the Sox, that would make the $250 Million dollar Yankees the third best team in the division? Way to aim high!
