faba 118,231
WHO INTERESTED THE SKINNY Chad Brown Patriots Steelers Apr. 28 - Brown visited Pittsburgh on Wednesday and expressed a desire to re-join the team that drafted him 12 years ago. "My interest is very high," Brown told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. "This is a very special place to play football, and to come full circle and end my career here would be awesome." According to the Boston Globe, the Patriots also are exploring the possibility of signing Brown, who was cut last week by the Seattle Seahawks. The 35-year-old Brown visited with Patriots officials on April 25. "Outside linebacker is an example of a position where we haven't drafted anybody and really haven't signed anybody, and we need to go to camp with a couple more players than we have there," Patriots coach Bill Belichick said. WHO INTERESTED THE SKINNY Travis Henry Bills Eagles? Cardinals? Bucs? Titans? Apr. 28 - The Buffalo News reports that Henry has reiterated his intention to skip Buffalo's upcoming minicamp and pursue trade opportunities, although several of those fell by the wayside when the Bills were unable to get anything done before or during the draft. Bills GM Tom Donahoe told the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle the team will continue to work on trade scenarios. "We're still optimistic," Donahoe said. "We tried hard and it didn't work, but that doesn't mean it won't. ... There are still a lot of options that are open." According to multiple reports, the Eagles remain a possibility, even after drafting Louisiana Tech's Ryan Moats in the third round. WHO INTERESTED THE SKINNY Tim Rattay 49ers ? Apr. 28 - 49ers coach Mike Nolan told the San Francisco Chronicle he has fielded inquiries from other teams about Rattay's availability but said no team wants to trade for the QB until he's healthy, and Nolan himself wants to see a healthy Rattay before he makes a decision on whether to trade him. After drafting Alex Smith No. 1 overall, Nolan has indicated he wants the former Utah QB to compete for the starting job as a rookie. "If Alex is going to be our starter, he's going to have to earn it," Nolan told the Chronicle. "But it's kind of hard to have a competitive situation when half your guys are hurt." Steelers competing withe Pats for Chad Brown Bills get Simon for Henry- good trade for Bills to replace Pat Williams if it happens.

I love how BB always gives these incredible insights that would just go over the heads of all Pats fans. No sh*t the Pats need more LB's in camp. Brown should have been a done deal earlier this week and they also should have made a more concerted effort to sign Jamie Sharper.
